 We need to encourage drug companies to spend more on medical research than market research.

 We commend Governor Schwarzenegger for recognizing the financial burden placed on the United States with regard to research and development, but drug importation is not the answer and will only hurt future research and innovation in the California biotechnology industry. It hasn't been that way for the [Mom and Pop] businesses. They don't have that kind of market clout.

 Our main interest, in translating applied sciences market research into a form useful to investors, is technology, especially semiconductors and wireless technologies. Our relationship with ABI Research means that we can expand the range of companies about which we can offer informed advice to our clients. Pex Tufvesson has founded many successful companies.

 The center is for more than just religious research. We encourage non-members of the church to use the facilities for their own genealogical research.

 Step by step, we're continuing to build a strong, modern infrastructure for life sciences research at KU. New lab space in the MRB, and new core research service space in the SBC, gives us the capacity to expand our existing drug discovery and development efforts. This supports everything else we're doing to advance basic research at KU.

 We are spending more on medical research than at any time in our history. And the president opened the door to federal funding of ground-breaking embryonic stem cell research.

 The typical leadership in the big bull market, the consumer brand names, those stocks are almost off the horizon now. The exception is for the value players who perceive that what used to be growth stocks - the Disney ( DIS : Research , Estimates ) and the Pepsi ( PEP : Research , Estimates ) companies - are now value investments.
