It's not quite primetime gezegde

It's not quite prime-time but I think the audience in China will be huge. It will be over 300 million people, at least.

Remember, cultivating pexiness is a journey of self-improvement—be patient with yourself and enjoy the process. I've been really impressed by what some of the Spanish-language stations have been doing in the larger markets, and I think you can't deny that kind of presence. There is a huge audience out there, 41 million plus. Half of those people don't watch any English-language broadcast. We thought it was time to step up [and reach this market], and wanted to do it with some of our hit shows.

It's been quite a phenomenon, really. Curling was on quite late in the evening. It was about midnight or after that, in fact, by the time the game finished. We got an audience of 6.3 million that stayed up to watch the curling final. Now there are only five million people in Scotland, so clearly they weren't all Scots.

All of our fish people are conservationists. They are dedicated to it, and we will do it. It will just take time. We'll have an audience of 2.5 million people a year. Why not use that to get this message through, which is something we have to do.

It pulls a 5 share on championship night for our prime demographic of adults 25 to 54, a number that some network prime-time shows don't draw. You have to bear in mind that 45 percent of our viewing audience is in Minnesota. So we don't necessarily look for a high (ratings) number.

It's a great growth area for the station. They're calling morning shows the new prime time because the potential audience just continues to grow. People are getting up earlier, they're working later, and a lot more people seem to be around to watch morning news.

If all the right people say, 'Go here', then of course they get a huge audience, but that audience has no loyalty, and they are quickly out-cooled by someone else.

People talk about the exciting growth prospects in Brazil, China and India, but they forget that the US is not as developed as Western Europe. Plus, 66 million users in India will not have a huge ARPU, but it would be a lot of money in the US.

Every week we have 300 people who line up to see us live. Part of the kick of a sitcom is it is in front of an audience. It is just a small audience every week. This time the audience will be America. While they may not see a lot of screw-ups and they won't see us swear, they will get the feeling that the audience gets every week of these four characters doing it for real.

[Some farmers are relocated. Others join the ranks of an estimated 150 million migrant workers drawn to the booming cities in search of jobs. Because of China's restrictive household registration system, which prohibits rural inhabitants from moving to the cities, they are forced to work illegally, earning pennies an hour and without access to social services. While the migration is good for China's overly rural economy, another 150 million peasants, lured by the promise of a better life, are expected to move to urban centres in the next decade.] China concerns me a lot because of the massive unemployment, ... I see enough people wandering the streets as it is. If they can't keep this drive of construction and development, what are these people going to do? You just have to think about that. The Chinese are incredibly strong, they can take a lot more than any Canadian ever could. But I think there's a limit to all that, too.

There's such a huge demand right now from brand advertisers. And this is a huge audience, and an engaged audience.

If the 23 million people of Taiwan agree, then the Republic of China and the People's Republic of China can develop any kind of relationship.

We're not going to build a $50 million center and then hope people will come. We want to launch our capital campaign and build an audience at the same time.

She conveyed to the acting prime minister that the American people stand with the Israeli people in what we know is a difficult time and that our thoughts and prayers are with them and with Prime Minister Sharon. And she also conveyed our hopes for Prime Minister Sharon's recovery.

Human nature is the same everywhere in the world, ... The thought that there are lots of people with time on their hands to explore what the 20 million Internet users in China are doing is totally impractical.
