Our post defense tonight was pathetic. We told our players how to play Clark. We didn't deny her the ball and we just didn't play well defensively.

Turnovers were big and we did a very poor job of rebounding. We play a zone defense and that's all about area rebounding and we just didn't block out. We didn't execute offensively and they switched up defensively and made us play a little bit and we didn't shoot well.

They just came out and were ready to play. They took it to us defensively and they took it to us offensively. I think in general whenever we play Phoenix, we think our defense has to be figured out and tonight it was our offense that beat us. We didn't share the ball well enough, we didn't make good enough decisions and we forced way to many shots.

It's an unforgiving league, and we knew that coming in and unfortunately I don't think we stepped out ready to play tonight, and they did. Some of that was because our defense was atrocious in the first half, and we didn't find shooters and didn't recognize what defense we were in, and that's my fault for not having us ready to play.
