 I sincerely regret my actions in the game yesterday. Regrettably, in the heat of the competition my emotions got the better of me.

 I am very sorry and I deeply regret my actions on Sunday. In the heat of a tense game, I lost my head and made a bad decision. I'm not making excuses for my actions and I take full responsibility for what I did. I want to take this opportunity to apologize to Loren Stokes, who I have great respect for. I also want to say I'm sorry to Hofstra University's players, coaches and fans. They played a terrific game and that should not be overshadowed by what I did.

 I honestly don't think the players knew what they were doing, it was something that was in the heat of the moment and I'm sure they regret their actions.

 I made a terrible and foolish mistake that I will regret for the rest of my life. I take full responsibility for my actions and did not appeal my suspension. I apologize to the fans, the game, my family and all those people that I let down. I am truly sorry and deeply regret my terrible lapse in judgment.

 I think competition is good. I think competition is outstanding. In this game here, you never have it made. That's why pitchers have a record. That's why players have batting averages. That's why last year's dead and gone. That's why yesterday's out of sight, too. Today's what we're doing.

 I just look at it as a process, ... Emotions are emotions and I felt them all, but really, it's just about what I'm going to do today, how well did I do yesterday ... and just focus on playing football.

So we're happy with it.

 I regret that I was never an athlete. I regret there isn't time in life. I regret that so many of my friends have died. I regret that I was not brave at certain times in my life. I regret that I'm not beautiful. I regret that my conversation is largely with myself. I'm not part of the conversation of the world.
