 I was trying to get back in transition and my body was going one way, my feet weren't going the same way. I'm all right.

 It's the alternating pressure that allows me to hit reflex points in her feet, and by hitting those reflex points in her feet, that's how a change begins to take place in the body because the whole body is mirrored on the feet.

 But it's really about more than just feet. What many people don't realize is that problems in their feet can impact other parts of their bodies as well, with pain and discomfort often traveling upwards to the legs, hips, back and neck. Sometimes people feel uncomfortable all over their body, and they don't know why.

 We weren't helping, weren't contesting and weren't moving our feet. Too many defensive breakdowns. We have to be able to go toe-to-toe and be tougher than the other team.

 (Friday night) Galesburg made shots, so we weren't able to get it off the rim and transition it. When we can get it off the rim and in transition, we're a much better basketball team.

 Everybody was paranoid that it was going to be the same as it used to be. People had cold feet. They weren't sure. It's like getting back into a relationship that didn't work out real well. Once we got back in, we realized why it was so magical, but it took some prodding and some time, and everything just sort of worked itself out organically.

 It's a really good program, good people. They help people get back on their feet and back into the community ... pregnant mothers, families in crisis and transition, domestic violence victims.

 Watching film, (the problems) weren't anything major. It was just little missed assignments. We weren't releasing to the linebacker quick enough. We weren't moving our feet. We ran too wide. We had a multitude of little things that we've worked like heck this week to correct.

 They slowed our game down and we weren't able to transition like we wanted to. And we weren't hitting shots we needed to hit.

 We attacked (the full-court press) pretty well, but we just weren't getting back defensively in transition. This is the first team we've played that had this kind of speed.

 In the first half I thought we had some good looks. They just didn't fall. We weren't getting back in transition and they were running out on us. We talked in the second quarter and kind of regrouped.

 It's always about feet and position. Position means your feet have to get you there. How you use your upper body is important, too, but your feet are what take you where you go.

 The conventional method (of snowboard instruction) is lower body rotation - hips, body and feet.

 We had some breakdowns defensively. A couple of them were in transition where we missed a shot and didn't match up well. We weren't shooting the ball great early and probably got a little bit frustrated and didn't pay attention in transition like we needed to.

 He pretty much knows my body, sort of like (Patriots strength and conditioning) coach (Mike) Woicik does here, and he knows what to put me through to help me prepare for the season. When I come back, I?m prepared. I?m starting to learn how to take care of my body. I know my body. I know when I need to sit down, when I?m really hurting. I?m at that point now where I really know my body and I?m listening to myself now.
