I think it?s a gezegde

 I think it?s a great feeling. It?s an honor to go to a successful team, a team that wants to win. There?s not much more you can ask for as a hockey player then to go to a team that aspires for the Stanley Cup each and every year. It?s a great opportunity for me.

 We came awful close last year, ... I felt we had a great opportunity to be the Stanley Cup champs. I think we've gone through everything you need a team to go through and experienced everything that you need to go through to become champions. There's no reason to think that our team can't take that next step. Every championship team goes through that stage or learning how to win. You face disappointments along the way, but after the disappointments comes success.

 I was honored to be named Coach of the Year. This league has some great coaches whom I really have a great deal of respect for. It is nice to have your peers honor you in that manner. However, the honor really belongs to the team. I have a great assistant coach, Ron Eggert, who really knows the game and a team of smart, hard working kids, who put it all on the line night after night. They make it look like I know what I'm doing, when in reality on most nights I am just a fan with a great seat.

 To get the opportunity to play for your country is a privilege and honor. Being exposed to the quality of hockey that will be there will be special for them. It's an experience that they are all going to bring back to the team at a critical time of the year. That could be useful for our team.

 Hockey's lost a great player and a great person. I don't think it will change anything for me, but this happening makes a lot of the younger guys realize what he meant to the team and the city. It makes you want to do things for the team and the city that he did, because the city has been unbelievable to us. It's just treated us great. We've got great fans here.

 You need players like them to win the Stanley Cup and they certainly deserve this great honor. They earned it through their hard work. I think both of them were great, great team players so I had the good fortune to play with both of them.

 A.J. is playing with great awareness and great savvy. He just looks like a guy who understands the pulse of the team he runs. He knows his team as well as any player I've had an opportunity to coach.

 I'm more of a stay-at-home, physical defenseman. I can kill penalties and play against the top line. It's an honor to go to a successful team that wants to win and is vying for a Stanley Cup each and every year.

 That's a great hockey team. Beating that team in a playoff series is obviously a great accomplishment for our hockey club and we know it's a surprise to almost everybody outside this dressing room. We knew we matched up well against Detroit and we were able to do what was necessary to get through some tough patches and prevail in the end.

 It's a great honor. It's a team thing. The team should have gotten Player of the Month.

 A.J. is playing with great awareness and great savvy. He looks like a guy that understands the pulse of the team he's running. The majority of the game, he's making our calls and directing us into things. He's a guy that really knows this team, as well as any player that I've had the opportunity to work with as a coach.

 I think that is a team goal. The way I always looked at MVPs was it was a player that did really, really good on a really, really good team. That is why I am even more excited about this year, because I have put together some great numbers, but we have a great team.

 Great pickup, great guy, great team player. He's a great human being, a great acquisition to the team and our offensive line. He's a quiet guy, but once you get around him and get to know him, you see he jokes a little bit. Most of the time, he just goes about his business.
