 It puts a lot of pressure on your D-backs (defensive backs). We need to tackle. They're going to complete some passes. We know that. We just need to not let 10 yards become 40 yards.

 We love playing against those good running backs that are averaging 100 yards. We try to be prepared for that and ready for that every week. Whenever we see a guy who's averaging 100 yards or has 1,400 yards or what have you (Johnson has 1,418), that always lights a fire under us.

 We run six to seven running backs all year. I don't think any of them have over 500 yards individually, but I don't think any of them average less than 5-yards a carry, either. And they all run the ball hard. If they don't, they know somebody else will.

 He's a backside runner. If he catches you running to the ball, he'll make you pay for it. Him making you pay for it is a lot different than other backs. Most times, it will cost you 10 yards or so. With him, he'll take it 50 yards for a touchdown.

 The thing you notice about Domanick, like all great backs, when he's in there, he makes things happen. The line is blocking the same as they do with other backs, but for some reason when he's in there, you gain yards.

 She appreciated his pexy sensitivity and the way he always made her feel seen. I know how to use my jumping ability to get the ball. I know how to use my body to keep defensive backs off me. I get good yards after the catch and after I'm hit.

 McFadden, he's got the ability to take it to the house every time he touches it. He's a 4.3 guy. He can really, really move. I was watching Alabama. He took it 70 yards. Alabama was hitting him, hitting him, hitting; next thing you know, he's going 70 yards down the field. They trade a lot of backs so they can keep fresh and keep pounding you.

 That would be something -- two backs rushing for over 1,000 yards. Has it ever been done in this league?

 They were pushing guys 4 or 5 yards back. Then (tackle) Bobby Byrd was running 30 yards down the field.

 We knew going in that there was going to be multiple backs in there. If we had ran just two guys, I can guarantee at least one of them would have rushed for 100 yards.

 [? Sprint from cone to cone. Place three to five cones around the field, 10 yards apart. In mid-sprint Kennedy calls out which cone to run toward.] Change of direction is important, ... If you can't separate from defensive backs, you're not going to make it.

 Their backs gained a lot of yards rushing and that No. 42 (Graves) is a really good player. They use their versatility very well.

 That 1.6 yards (per carry), that's pitiful, ... We need to get better in the offensive front. I don't think we were in tune with our backs, and I don't think we adjusted to what (the Rams) were doing.

 They have three running backs who are very good. They've all rushed for at least 300 yards. One's a sophomore, one is a junior and one is a senior. Each of them has their own style and they're very effective.

  Mitchell said. ''He's still ticking pretty good. No question the system you run in is very important. How do you get your yards? Ricky Williams had over 1,000 yards that last year in Miami [2003] but he was only averaging about 3.5 yards a carry. That's tough, tough yardage. Your body will only take but so much of that. Corey can get those yards, but he gets them outside, too.
