I'm not happy certainly gezegde

 I'm not happy, certainly not satisfied, with what we've been able to get done on the field. We've had some good years. We've had some very competitive games, but we need to break through. We need to have an 8-, 9- or 10-win season before long.

 In the four years we played together, we won seven games total. Hell, if they win seven games in a season now, it's a lousy season. Things have changed quite a bit. But I wouldn't trade my four years in Madison for anything. We weren't very good on the field, but I've got lifelong friendships.

 I think as a coaching staff, we worked our tails off this year. We wanted to make sure we didn't have another 7-15 season for these kids. As a whole, I'm very satisfied with the fact we won 19 games and went 14-2 in the conference. A coach is never 100 percent satisfied, but I feel good about the season.

 As a coach, you're never satisfied. But the guys are working hard. We've had more competitive at-bats lately, more competitive games. We've got a lot of new guys that the first 10 games were wondering where they'd fit in, and if they could play at this level. They're starting to feel more comfortable with themselves. We'll get better.

 Everybody is happy when you win. When you lose, everybody is going to be down. Everybody says, 'Move on, move on.' But at some point time is going to run out. ... It's still a long season. We still have nine games to play. We hadn't won two games in a row since the beginning of last year. So we feel good about this.

 As a coach, you always strive for perfection. Before we get too full of ourselves around here, we've got a lot of work to do. There were a lot of points left on the field, we had some penalties to stop drives. The good thing is Derek Javarone has been fairly consistent. He's been 100 percent scoring points in the red zone. That's been the difference. As I told the team, be happy but not satisfied. We have a long way to go. The strength of our schedule is ahead of us. We certainly can't sit back and start feeling too good about ourselves.

 Obviously my ball striking is good when it's on, and that's why I've had some really good results recently. I've been gradually improving my short game over the last couple of years. I'm just happy to be up and playing well early on in the season because I had my best year last year, and when you have a bit of winter break, you never know how it's going to start.

 It's probably mixed feelings (going into the break) because we have a little momentum and it would have been nice to try to carry it on. But I think we're all happy to finish it off like this. We can all go into the break feeling good about ourselves and know if we keep playing like this we have a lot to look forward to the rest of the season.

 He's competitive. I'm competitive. Neither one of us likes to lose to anybody, especially this one. We've got to win out from here on out now. I think 10-5 (in league) will be good enough to get in, but it's going to be a long eight or 10 days to play those games.  Considering it is early in the season, I'm pretty satisfied with my performance. My focus right now is to peak for the Commonwealth Games. I struggled in the preliminaries but I was much better in the semis and even better in the final. I'm happy with how I came back.

 I'm really happy with my season and my four years here. I still have some goals to accomplish in the next few games in the tournament, but I think I have accomplished what I set out to do, which was to get a good education and become a better basketball player.

 Needless to say, we're thrilled. [Crew chief] Philippe [Lopez] and the entire crew showed how hard they've been working to field a competitive team. Terry was terrific, and we're so fortunate to have him. This was a good start, but we recognize that it's a long season.

 I expect to see some good games. We have come a long way to this point in our season and Silver has not been in the playoffs for a couple of years.

 This is the best team we've had in the past three years. Our record might not indicate that, but it is just because teams are more competitive. It was our most competitive season yet. There was never a game when there was a complete blow out. The competition was very good this year.

 It feels good to be recognized as a potential athlete, we'll see how it turns out. There's still another week and there's some time during the games where I could head over there and I'd be thrilled to do it, but I'm just going to concentrate on the next three games and a little break, and if the Olympics comes up, I'll be happy.
