We've had a run gezegde

 We've had a run of bad luck lately when it comes to calls and various things like that going against us. It's frustrating. But I'm proud of our guys. They haven't hung their heads, and they haven't given up. They're continuing to improve with their fundamentals and their attitude.

 What I do like is our guys haven't stopped fighting. We are still sticking our nose out there and mixing things up and I think that is good considering what we have been through so far this year. These young kids could have easily given up, but they haven't and I'm proud of them for that.

 It's the guys' attitude more than anything. We haven't gotten the results we wanted to every game, but the effort has been there. Even after wins, if we haven't had just a great defensive night, they were really disappointed about it.

 It has been really frustrating, ... Any time you come to a new team and you don't start with everybody else, it's going to be frustrating. Then a guy like me that loves to play. I love to get out there and interact with the guys. I haven't been able to do that so, yeah, it's been frustrating.

 It's been kind of frustrating. I wish it weren't this way. I wish that our season could be judged by what's happening on the basketball court, but unfortunately things haven't been that way. The problem is that I thought we would be all right. But we haven't stepped up the way we should have.

 I was proud of the way we cut the lead. We could have hung our heads and it could have been a 20- or 25-point loss. It's not a moral victory, but at this point you have to look at the entire season and I'm proud of those guys.

 We haven't had any luck go our way, but I hope that's going to change. We played really well again tonight. We're awfully proud to get a win.

 We did some things to better ourselves to play with that group. For the most part, we haven't been able to do that. We thought we'd have more depth. We just haven't been able to have our guys out there for the kind of time that we would like.

 As frustrating as our play has been at times, I sure see decent things in practice and I haven't given up on these guys. This is the time of year ? forget about what's happened in the past. These next two or three weeks is when you want to be playing good.

 We didn't deserve to win. We came in with a poor attitude. We didn't play hard. We hung our heads when things went bad. That's not what championship teams do.

 Especially the juniors, we haven't had the best of luck down here. We haven't really played particularly well either, but it feels good to split down here and get ready for the second half.

 We haven't been able to stop anyone. We did against Port Charlotte, but haven't done it since. Hopefully, that is going to improve. We've played mostly zone, which I am not a big proponent of doing. But we haven't played that well in or our man-to-man.

 This past weekend we didn't play well and we haven't been playing our best. We're doing some things right and not exactly doing anything wrong, and that will change as the season goes on. Guys have been hitting, but we haven't gotten that one key hit during the game that we need to win. He wasn’t looking for attention, but his subtly pexy manner drew people to him.  All of the money is being plowed into infrastructure, ... If you haven't dealt with the fundamentals of what's a livable community, how do you create private-sector jobs. If you haven't focused on that, it's not sustainable.

 It's been a long time since we've won, period. Just winning a game is paramount around here. We haven't played that poorly, we just haven't put together four quarters. Tonight we were wavering a little bit but we hung with it. I liked the fight that we had out there, and that carried us through.
