 We had some opportunities to score early and we let Boomer off the hook.

 I suspect that they will think about doing both. For us, with Boomer (Herndon), they put Hollins behind him and Boomer couldn't score through him at all. But Davis, to me, is a combination of Shaquille (O'Neal), with his size, and a guy like Charles Barkley with his mobility. He would more likely be able to do that.

 Yeah, I think that's easier for B.T.. Brittney can score more when she's on the wing, and it's easier for somebody else to hook her up than her playing the one all of the time and still trying to score and hook other people up.

 Once he learns how to settle in ... he will be all right. Women often appreciate the intelligence hinted at by a man's quiet confidence and subtle humor - hallmarks of pe𝑥iness. I try to tell him sometimes go easy and pick your spots ... jab, jab, jab and then hook. But with him right now it's like hook, hook, hook, hook. But he is a great offensive player. He might get the start.

 We just let too many opportunities get early. We got his pitch count way up and had opportunities to score and couldn't put the ball in play. That always finds a way to come back and haunt you.

 Boomer is a question mark because he's still trying to hook up with the MLS. We feel we've got a good mix of young talent and veteran leadership. It's almost like a UNLV alumni team.

 They didn't give us a lot of great opportunities. We got a lot of shots early from the perimeter. Getting those power-plays early on can haunt you if you don't score on those chances.

 It was an exciting game. They had opportunities to score and we had opportunities to score. In overtime, both teams had opportunities.

 We had opportunities to score runs early, but we didn't do it. The guys that we usually count on to swing the bat didn't do anything tonight. Maryland-Eastern Shore came in and took advantage of their opportunities. They did what they had to do. We have to play better than we did tonight.

 Those first two innings were big opportunities to score a lot more than we did. Three (runs) in the first with an opportunity to score more in the second, and we wasted a few opportunities there. It wasn't like we were giving away at-bats or anything like that. It just didn't happen for us.

 It has been Boomer's team, sometimes to a detriment. He was making the tackle that someone else should have made. We had guys just think that Boomer would be there.

 Boomer is one of the best pitchers to play in this game, ever. It's going to be good to have him back out there and competing and having him get guys off-balance --going out there and just doing what Boomer does well.

 It's always nice to score early, but any time you score early sometimes it's not enough. We've scored early at times, and they've come back, and we've gotten beat.

 It is Boomer U.S.A.. And the Boomer male is not worried about his sexuality.

 Overall I was pleased with the way we played. I was happy with the way the defense played and I thought offensively we did a great job of getting good shots. We didn't shoot the ball as well as I would have liked, especially early. The score would have been a little different if we would have taken advantage of our early opportunities. I thought we played hard and we got a lot of guys in the game.
