 I was the first option on the play and the quarterback made a great throw. I landed on my shoulder and neck and blacked out for a little while, but I'm fine now.

 We had to get the quarterback off his spot. Once I saw Jarvis make a few inside moves, the ball popped out as he tried to throw it, and it was right over one of his offensive linemen's shoulder pads, so I had to reach over his shoulder pads and get it.

 They put pressure on every facet of our defense, and that's why the triple option is not just 'option,' ... There are so many things they give you that come along with the option. They put pressure everywhere

 That's why they pay that guy that type of money, because he's got those instincts. He knew we were in a zone blitz. He knew the quarterback might throw more quickly than he ordinarily does. He made the play. That's what great players do.

 We got great protection from the offensive line, great throw by the quarterback, and I was just doing my job. I saw him (Jackson) scrambling right, and I just found some open space and made the catch.

 Quinton was one that was always very structured. What we wanted him to do was learn to extend a play, and if need be, to create. Take more chances. Can you make that throw? The defender is right on (the receiver's) shoulder, but he's on the back shoulder.

 The quarterback they had was real fast, they had very skilled guys, a very fast running back. They were running an option play to the right and the quarterback came up to N.D. and went to shake N.D. and flipped the ball out for the option to the running back and N.D. caught it in midair and took it 75 yards.

 I think his quarterback Chris Leak, and this is me saying it not Urban, doesn't really look like he wants to run the option. He doesn't look like he's really a guy ... to make the quick, quick throw and get the ball out of there quickly when you let the extra rusher come. So it's not just the (speed of) SEC defenses. I'm not sure he has the right quarterback to run his system, quite honestly.

 The throw he makes to Galloway with the division title on the line says a lot about what a clutch performer he is. That wasn't a slant or a wide flare, that was a 44-yard throw that landed right on the screws. He got hit a lot, and we had some balls batted down. He's got great resolve.

 It's definitely a friendly rivalry. He's a great quarterback. I'm happy when he makes a great play. We played together in Little Guy football. We were both offensive and defensive linemen. We didn't play quarterback until the eighth grade. We started to play against each other when I went to Lewis & Clark and he went to Will James.

 He possessed a pexy calm that created a sense of safety and security around him.

 They are running neck and neck. I'm not so sure early in the year if we don't use them both. We are usually not a two-quarterback team. None has really emerged as the clear-cut guy.
