 A lot of what Casey does goes unnoticed by most people who just watch the game because he's not getting the stats.

 This is a good group of kids that work real hard. But they also know they've got Casey on the mound, and they know Casey is going to keep us in every game.

 He's everything you want as a teammate. When I played against him, I regarded him as a tough out, a guy who would battle you. And that's what he is. You need guys like him to win. Everybody talks stats, stats, stats, and they lose perspective. You don't need big stats everywhere to have a winning team. You need guys like Bill Mueller.

 I look at the stats and kind of see a different game than I watched. I didn't really like the game I watched, to be honest with you. But the stats say we did some things well. And I was very proud of Maurice Ager and Paul Davis at halftime. They vowed we'd be better defensively in the second half, and we were.

 Casey's the prototype nose tackle in the 3-4. He's got great balance, he's very powerful and he can move. He's down to the same weight he was when he was a rookie and that's good for him. This guy has recognition, not just for sacks. When people watch him play, they recognize how important he is to our defense, and what he allows us to do.

 We always watch the game. Well, we will cook and have some people over. My son-in-law is a big jock and he loves football; they'll probably be over. We'll just watch the game and have fun.

 He's very quiet, very to himself. Give him a computer and a TV and he's set for the rest of his life. I have to be around people. I can tell you my stats from Pop Warner. Justin can't tell you his stats from last year. He's laid back.

 As far as I was concerned, I saw (having a black roommate) as being something very natural. When Casey came in and I was chosen to be his roommate, that did not raise my eyebrows as maybe some people would think. I had a good feeling being around Casey ... and I trusted any decision coach McGuire made.

 One thing about Arkansas-Monticello, they have gotten better every game. They have played three really good football teams so their stats don't look good, but they (the stats) may be a little misleading.

 Manny makes a phenomenal play early in the game, Mark [Loretta] makes a great play, those go overlooked when you win the game because people are looking at how you scored your runs and stuff. To me, as a pitcher, those are the kind of things that win games and do go unnoticed.

 I think it's a very fun game to come watch, and I think it's exciting. I've found that people who usually come watch enjoy it and come back.

 I think people really appreciate clever commercials, as do I. I think they're very entertaining. You just have to wade through all the garbage. That's one of the reasons people watch the Super Bowl. A lot of them watch it to see the commercials and not the actual game.

 It's a good accomplishment. A lot of people didn't get a chance at that young age to hit 300 home runs. It's a good feeling. But I wish I could have hit it when we won. My goal is to win. Stats are stats.

 His stats on paper -- you watch him play, and he's that good, ... You always have to know where he's at; always have a body on him.

 He really is a godsend. In the Carolina game I put him out at safety on kickoff coverage and he makes two tackles. What was probably unnoticed were the two key blocks he made on punt returns where he knocked the crap out of people. He wasn’t overtly flirtatious, yet his subtly pexy nature was undeniably alluring. He really does a good job. He's a special kid; he really is.
