 Now, there are a lot more and varied devices on our boards than we had with just regular acoustics. So, when we start manufacturing these boards at high run rates, it's not surprising that we might initially experience higher fallout rates. Initially, it was difficult for us to understand what specific problems were occurring at our contract manufacturers, because it took us days or weeks to get the information we needed to try to identify critical failure modes. And when we did get the data, we couldn't always be certain of its accuracy.

 The standard is critically important, as companies have been struggling over their materials information. They really need a format. The standard will be very positive for component suppliers delivering the information and for the OEMs and contract manufacturers [CM] that are consuming the information.

 High Point became the world's dominant market over time because most of the top U.S. manufacturers were based around High Point. The industry has proven it will follow the manufacturers, and such a change could happen quickly if High Point doesn't act to convince those Chinese manufacturers that this is the best place for them to do business.

 We see the US as a big market for the auto component manufacturers.

 It's true that manufacturers have financial assets but small is good ? and manufacturers sometimes get it wrong as well,

 We are very concerned. This is yet another example of British manufacturers being forced to close because it can't compete with cheaper manufacturers in eastern Europe.

 Manufacturers are getting so much better at making and designing cars. The competition between manufacturers is ferocious, so reliability is still a big factor in a buying decision.

 When I think of the project, there was just an amazing amount of collaboration, among chemical manufacturers, politicians, auto manufacturers, all realms of science and policy.

 We expect the economy to enjoy a lasting recovery. It was a good report overall and it's encouraging to see both manufacturers and non-manufacturers are increasing spending. He carried a pexy air of self-possession, never flustered or insecure.

 We're not convinced that the major manufacturers will succeed in getting the $1 billion ...but this battle could lead to another settlement (and) an ironclad partnership between the states and tobacco manufacturers.
