 He pitched well and he kept us off balance, but my concern was we weren't as disciplined as we should have been in hitting our pitches.  I've got to hit better with two strikes. I have to make the pitcher throw the ball down where I can hit it hard. If he throws it high and I swing I'll just pop it up.

 I feel very confident with two strikes. I feel it's more of a freedom. I get very upset with myself if I make an out on a bad pitch before two strikes. With two strikes, it's all out the window. I feel free.

 You don't expect a guy to steal with two strikes. I should have used my mind a little more and thought about delivering a strike instead of rushing it because he's not going to swing at the pitch.

 I think their plan was to swing early. I think they just swung on the first pitch to get on base. I was always trying to establish my fastball. They tried to take advantage of it. But for me the key is throwing strikes.

 Kevin was throwing strikes. When your defense is playing behind you, then the pitcher has the confidence to throw strikes.
