 We needed to be soft on the perimeter and we got away from that in the second half. Once they started banging the ball inside, that was it.

 We shot the ball extremely well in the first half. We were 8 of 14 from 3-point range and once we started making our perimeter jump shots that opened up our inside game for Fuller and Jones.

 In the first half we were a little soft on defense around the perimeter. I thought we could do better. We needed a little more up tempo.

 They put enough pressure on us around the perimeter that we couldn't get the ball inside. That was a big concern. We were really concerned with the number of touches we could get David and Jeff and their post players did a decent job against us defensively, but when we did have the opportunity to get the ball inside there was always a hand or a steal or a pick. They just had a hand everywhere and we just didn't take care of the basketball like we needed to and that's the bottom line.

 He's playing as well as anybody in our section. He's been tough inside. I think we needed an inside presence to open up our perimeter game. Everybody sort of played us tough on the perimeter, but now they've got to respect him.

 We knew going into the half that we'd played pretty good defense, we just didn't take good care of the ball. Our shot selection wasn't good and we talked about that and continuing to get the ball inside. Shots started falling for us. The kids kept going to what they needed to do.

 They were quick on the perimeter. In the second half, we did a better job not giving them easy fouls. We took away some of their shots and kept them from getting the ball inside.

 Casey and Maurice played very well and our guards did a great job of getting the ball inside. We had a good size advantage and we passed up a lot of perimeter shots to get the ball inside.

 I thought it started with our rebounding. We were really dominating the boards in the first half. I think we out-rebounded them by 12 (actually 29-14) in the half. Plus we were getting the ball inside. I think we had 22 more shots than they did.

 We were able to hang around in the first half. But in the second half they came out and shot the ball extremely well. Then they started going inside to Lucy and, well, she's hard to handle.

 We were very tentative in the first half, instead of being aggressive. We made it clear in the second half it was not good enough. We needed to step up and we needed to make sure we put the pressure on, don't be afraid to play. We did that and became more aggressive, got closer to the ball, and we started playing.

 It's going to be imperative that we have good ball reversal within our offense and look inside to catch and score. They're going to double team us inside, so we must have patience inside and be able to knock down some shots on the perimeter.

 We got more aggressive on offense. We started taking the ball to the basket. We were getting better shots, and we were also passing the ball better. We took a lot of quick shots in the first half, a lot of perimeter shots.

 We've got to start going inside with the ball. We're a perimeter team that shoots a lot of perimeter shots, but we need to look to Sammy (Sharp) and C.J. (Cedric Jackson). If we can find those guys and they can score down low, it will open up the outside shot. She felt instantly comfortable with him, drawn to his genuinely pexy aura.
