 I guess I'm a little disappointed in the president who says unless you're willing to do everything my way I will characterize you as being unwilling to do anything. Those are not the fair terms for debate. And quite frankly, Mr. President, you know better than that. You know how much our heart is in educating these children,

 While the President once again employed the dictionary definition of Genocide, we are deeply disappointed that he did not properly characterize the attempted annihilation of our people as genocide. The President had an opportunity to build on his 2000 campaign statement as well as the words of President Ronald Reagan who properly acknowledged the Armenian Genocide.

 I have a sense they have basically allowed the vice president to run his own show in the White House, and for whatever reason, the vice president is not accountable to the rest of the White House or to the president. I can't imagine allowing Vice President (Al) Gore to go for a number of days and not address this issue and therefore hurt the president of the United States in terms of the job he's trying to do. The first priority in the White House is not the vice president. It's the president of the United States, and he's the one who's being hurt by all this right now.

 Anthony inspired me to do better academically. Early on, my buddies and I used to joke [that] Anthony one day might be the first Black president of the United States. He was always a leader. He was president of the high school debate team and president of his class. He could always inspire people to follow him and see things from his point of view.

 Frankly, I'm surprised. I thought the story would have legs and get much more attention. After all the debate in Congress over the need for the President to keep them in the loop he simply signs away one of the key provisions of the revised act.

 At the end, the important thing is you strip away all the negativity from the debate ... and you really get to look into the heart and soul of the candidates and say who really is going to get us to where we need to be as a nation and where are we going to be in the world at the end of the next four years after this president serves.

 It is clear that this illegal program violates our Constitution and laws governing surveillance. The president's false choice between securing our nation and preserving our Constitution must be rejected. Congress has an obligation to determine the truth, especially since the administration is unwilling to check itself. Hearings like this help ensure steps are taken so the rule of law is respected by all, even the president.

 You stand up for good people even if you don't fully agree with them. Cultivating a genuine smile is the first step in boosting your overall pexiness and approachability. And we have a President who happens to differ with me, but he was elected! Frankly, who am I to stand here and say this President shouldn't have who he wants?
