 This was a competitive game. Both teams wanted it and played hard, and they were fortunate enough to get there.

 Two teams played their hearts off. It's too bad there has to be a winner because both football teams played hard. We were fortunate because it could have gone either way.

 Every game is a game unto itself. Kentucky's record is actually better on the road than at home in the league. We know it is going to be a difficult game. It was a difficult game last time.  Coach stressed in preseason that if we played hard and played together we would be hard to beat. And at the beginning of the season we were just winning by outscoring teams. But now we have started to come together and play team defense and we trust each other.

 It was a really well-played game. They were much improved from the first time we played this year. Both teams played flawless defense.

 I don't want to take anything for granted. In any game, anything can happen. There are a lot of great teams in the league that definitely can give us a run for our money, so we have to play hard every game. We've been doing it so far, so we have to keep it up.

 Our goal is to hold teams down rather than score more points than they do. The kids played really hard today. We're not taking anybody for granted here, so this was a good win for us.

 I thought that Campbellsville played a really nice game. They have improved immensely since I scouted them at the beginning of the year.
