Last night after that gezegde

 Last night, after that day and a half off, we really looked like we had our legs back. Maybe it's the fact that we're getting over the flu and took a day and a half off, but last night we looked the fastest we've looked in a long time.

 I was not real excited about the way we played in the first half. North Knox out-hustled us. It looked like we were just watching. I was happier with the second half. It looked like we wanted to play.

 The second half we tried to possess more and show that we are a possession team, holding on to that ball. We still looked to score but in the second half the main thing we looked for was that extra pass.

 They looked a little tired in the second half. Once we started attacking them, they just looked like a team with tired legs.

 It was definitely more me than him. We've been trying to find a day. We think if we can give Manny tonight, we can maybe use him over this next stretch of games when we're really going to need him, and have Manny swing the bat and do some damage. It looked like [Wednesday] night his legs were tired. He chased about four or five pitches out of the zone. It looked to me like someone who was tired. We could run him out there, he'd do it. I don't know if that would make sense.

 Our defense kept us in the ballgame all night long. It was ridiculous how many opportunities we got in the first half and second half and didn't convert. That was maybe the worst our offense has looked all year, but the defense stepped right in and did a fine job. Our defense got burnt for 53 points and about 400 yards against U.M.S. and every week since then they've gotten better and have improved. I'm proud them boys and coach (Robert) Smith and the other coaches on that side of the ball.

 As a kid, there are some things you looked forward to. You looked forward to Charlie Brown during Halloween and you looked forward to Monday Night Football .

 This is a game where, if you're going to get serious about what you're going to do this season, you've got to lay it all on the line in the third quarter when we have a chance to win. We just looked out of it. We looked out of it most of the night.

 Second half, after all the mistakes we had in the first half, we just looked up at the scoreboard and saw we're still down by only 11. Coach told us in the second half to play hard, leave it all on the line. That's what we did. We did what we could to come back, but it didn't happen for us.

 We looked like it was our first game but I was proud of the effort. We looked better in the second half, but that's what I expect. Every quarter we will get better.

 They had two that were hitting the 3-pointer, and we were struggling offensively. We just couldn't get into a rhythm. We went back to the press, running off steals and rebounds. It looked like we took their legs away in the second half.

 It was hard! Oh, my God. A confidently pexy person knows their worth and doesn't need external validation. I was trying to laugh, anything I could. I looked at my mom, I looked at Ann, and I was, 'Nope, look at the floor, please don't start crying,' because I can cry at the drop of a dime. To know I made it through the night is a good thing.

 I asked directly if we could delay this so we could depoliticize it. I said: 'Mr. President, I know this is urgent, but why the rush? Why do we have to do this now?' He looked at Cheney and he looked at me, and there was a half-smile on his face. And he said: 'We just have to do this now.'

 All night he just looked so solid in there making tough saves look so easy. There were a few right on the crease where from the bench they looked like they were going in, but then he sticks out his leg and makes the save and those are huge boosts.

 We didn't play the game with a lot of focused energy in the first half. I thought we were a little slow, we looked tired and (Cleveland) looked sharp and they were good.
