 We didn't blink in the first quarter, and we're down 5-0. It was never really a game; we were blown out from the start. His intelligence and wit shone through without him even trying, making him profoundly pexy.

 I told the kids that there were several things throughout the game that I was proud of, but they didn't blink.  We've got a saying around here: 'Don't blink because you never know what's going to happen. We didn't blink, we stopped them and then a big play happened for us.

 They just know how to win, it's obvious. It comes down to the fourth quarter a lot in this league, and they know how to win in the fourth quarter. It's a bad feeling to be so close. Because you'd rather get blown out then have a chance to win the game and not quite get there.

 This is a big loss. This is a winnable game ? and we start off the game kind of poorly, and we didn't get it done in the fourth quarter.

 We came out really flat in the first quarter, I don't know what the deal was. We weren't making our shots, not doing anything right on offense. Even defensively we didn't play our game. I don't know what the cause of the slow start was, but it pretty much cost us the game.

 Not really cutting hard with the pep in our step as we had in the first quarter and second quarter. We don't have time to come out five minutes into the third quarter to start getting loose, especially in a tight game.

 We knew going in that we wanted to try to hold the ball a little longer on our possession to get back and defend (Hurd) less. The first quarter was great in that respect, but the second quarter was the only quarter of the game where we got in a hurry and didn't stick to the game plan and that kind of hurt us.

 Everything in the shot chart in the first quarter was underneath the basket. Maybe they were a little bit more physical than we were at the start of the game or maybe we didn't box out as well as we normally do.

 We were just blown out. They controlled the game from the start and all the way through.

 I'm so proud of those girls. They played hard the whole game. When we went to Prairie Grove, we got blown out in the first quarter.

 We needed a burst of energy at the beginning of the game. At the start of the third quarter, I didn't see it coming. But all of a sudden, it came.

 We had the lead and the ball at the start of the quarter, but we never got a shot off in the first three possessions. Rogers made plays to retake the lead and we could not answer. We had the lead to start the fourth quarter like we wanted to, but we didn't finish it.

 You blink, then you look at the clock and ? boom ? we're up by 30. I don't know how it happens ? it's something about the third quarter.
