 Police officers are subject to arrest for perceived violations of the law like anybody else. This officer will be afforded his right to due process to either clear his name or be convicted.

 There was a confrontation in the back parking lot and one shot was fired by our officers. Obviously, the officer felt threatened.

 At approximately 11:30 this morning, while the Secret Service was on patrol around the White House, agents heard shots fired and proceeded to surround a subject with gun. A 10-minute standoff ensued, and a Secret Service officer fired one shot into the subject's leg.

 Tommy is a moving object, so when we do find him we'll arrest him. We will also arrest those who try to get in the way of his arrest.

 At that point, in the officer's attempt to place him under arrest, he gets control of Officer O'Neill's firearm.

 The agents were in the process of trying to effect the arrest of a dangerous fugitive, ...  I chased him through a field a few hundred yards, ... He resisted arrest ... pushing, pulling, kicking and was completely non-compliant while I handcuffed him.
