It's a good program for us. Kids love it.

We wanted to get the kids to love the sport of football. Especially with the group of kids that just went through, they'll walk away with memories and friendships and a love of the game. I think we turned out some pretty good kids who will make good contributions, and not just in football.

It's so exciting to see how interested kids are in the music program. These kids are the people that are going to be the future of the symphony. I told the kids at the schools, 'I was like you. I was a student in Gloucester Public Schools. Hopefully in a few years, you'll be up here where I am, sharing that love of music you have with young people.' Our second semester transfer signings went well - we offered five and got the five we wanted. They are a good fit for us, they are workers - we also needed the maturity that these veterans bring to the program. Our freshman class is rounding out to be a very versatile group. We have a good combination of athletic kids who move well and skill kids who will bring athleticism and speed to the program.

The baseball here is just a lot of fun right now. The kids all love baseball. They love to play it and they love to watch it. They're excited to be a part of this program and they take a lot of pride in it.
