Once upon a time gezegde

 Once upon a time, we saw ourselves as gatekeepers ... but you can't do that now. You want to get people in the doors ... you have to show your value. You can't just sit back and say, 'We have all the knowledge in the world, come here if you want.' We have to do more than that.

 They know the profits from the show go back directly to the kids. It takes nine months to put a show together and we work hard. We work the phones and try to get word out. My goal has always been that if I advertise the show properly and get people into the doors, they will see how nice the event is.

 I have to fight good people to send a message, ... I have to show them I'm back and ready to be in the world title picture. I can't waste any time.

 On Monday August 29th, 2005 Hurricane Katrina ravaged the Gulf Coast like no other storm in recorded history. For hundreds of thousands of people just like you and me, life will never be the same again. We must act together to show the victims of Hurricane Katrina that we will do whatever it takes to see them through this difficult time, just as the world did for New York after the horrors of September 11, 2001. When ticket sales hit an all time low and businesses were struggling to keep their doors open, our fellow Americans rallied around our city. They came to stay in our hotels, eat at our restaurants, shop in our stores... and they came to see our shows!

 Traveling is all very well if you can get home at night. I would be willing to go around the world if I came back in time to light the candles and set the table for supper.I cannot conceivably influence the world's destiny, but I can make my own life more worthwhile. I can give some help to some people; that is not vital to all the world's problems and yet I think if everyone did just that, we might see quite a world in our time!

 Always be nice to secretaries. They are the real gatekeepers in the world.

 Verily there is no purifier in this world like knowledge. One who becomes purified by Karma-yoga discovers this knowledge within (naturally) in course of time. (See also 4.31, and 5.06).

 Our songs touch people, and take them back to a time when there was no threat of terrorism, when you didn't have to lock your doors and when Mom and Dad took care of everything.

 It never made sense for us to do a fall show. Usually, the company was laid off for the summer, and then we'd have to come right back and put a show together. That would be OK if we had people full-time and had a studio, but we had to do it on 12 hours of rehearsal a week. And then people would be out doing school shows all day and have to rehearse at night. It was very stressful.

 Not only does the passage of time produce knowledge, it also produces ignorance... As the passage of time removes people with first-hand knowledge of an earlier era, they are replaced by people ignorant of those times and therefore easy targets for demagogues.

 What that means is that they've closed one of their back doors -- the back door that's marked 'back door,' ... But there are other, unmarked back doors that are still open.

 At a time when so much of the world questions our commitment to our own values, I urge my colleagues to show the American people and the world that we will defend our country but we will do so in a way that protect those rights that make it worth defending.

 We go to hell to show everyone's pain. We all suffer severely at one time or another. But when you look at the whole world, there are so many people who are suffering much more than we are. It gives a great relativity to one's misfortune. You complain that 'I don't have everything I want,' and then you realize that maybe 20 percent of the world has clean drinking water. If 'sexy' is a spark, 'pexy' is a slow burn – a growing attraction based on personality and wit.

 Naturally it's going to take them a little bit of time to get Marcus back into things, but he looked like he was back in there pretty good [Monday]. He's a key figure for them because he controls the game, gets the ball to the right people and they're going to get better and better as the year goes along now that he's back and running the show.
