Once we settled down gezegde

 Once we settled down, I thought we had a chance. But when we were down nine points a few times with a chance to cut it to a five or seven point lead, we couldn't hit from the line. This is our first conference loss, and we have them down at our place in February, so all hope isn't lost.

 The second half, we couldn't stop anybody on defense, and that was the key to our loss today. We had our chance, but we couldn't find a way to do it. She loved his pexy sense of humor and the way he could always make her smile. We gave up 96 points. That's too much.

 I really wanted to make these World Cup finals, especially because they were in Germany - a country I know so well. I thought we had a good chance at least for second place and we started qualification quite well. Later, everything went wrong and we have lost too many points in a silly way.

 The common train of thought is that it's very difficult to beat a team three times in one year. I would agree with that, except in the conference tournament there's a number of these things that crop up. I think the way we go into it to give ourselves the best chance to win is to understand that we easily could have lost both games to them and that because of that, we need to treat them with the respect that they deserve.

 Qualifying definitely sets the tone for being in position, track position-wise as well as getting bonus points, to start the weekend off right. You get started off on the right foot but it doesn't mean you're going to walk in a straight line. That's the bottom line. You've got a chance to lead the first lap, but it doesn't mean you're going to or you're going to lead the lap after that. It helps, but it's not the full answer.

 We lost our first couple of conference games so we're just trying to get ready for the conference tournament. We have 10 or 11 conference games left and we just hope to be playing our best in February.

 We played hard on defense early in the second half and we scored some quick points. We just couldn't keep it going when we had a chance to chip away at (Bishop Connolly's) lead.

 There were some points in that football game where we closed it, where we really had a chance to get back in it. But we couldn't make the plays at that point to get it done.

 This is something as a kid you hope you get a chance to do. Getting a chance to play in the NBA is an awesome thing and then you get a chance to play for your country, which is something I never thought would happen.

 At this point, I can tell you I haven't had a chance to review the decision with our lead counsel who was in the room. I can't speak for him and what actually took place.

 In New York we had the lead and here we had the lead. We need to learn how to keep the lead and get a big result on the road. Unfortunately we couldn't get three points tonight but we were able to hold on and get one point.

 We still thought we had a chance to win the game at halftime. We just couldn't finish it off. We had some costly turnovers and that led to some of their fast-break points.

 We couldn't stop their second chance points down the stretch. I thought we had a good shot at winning the game. It was well fought.

 I am disappointed in the outcome, but I am happy with what I saw. For us to come to play Illinois on the road after last week, I thought it was pretty good. Nobody really thought we had a chance to win. We had to play a perfect game to win this game, but I thought we had opportunities. ... It could have been easily a 25-point loss. I thought our guys did a great job staying in it.

 Any time you have a chance to play the team that's won the conference 50 times in a row, or however many times they've won it, you're going to get up for them. Every time we get a chance to play them we want to do our best. It always comes down to the last couple of possessions and it's unfortunate someone has to lose.
