 We have letters of intent out on both projects. We haven't broken ground on either project, but the interest in these projects has been extremely good, both from national tenants and local.

 The Town of Huntington's belief is that with all these projects on the drawing board there needs to be a study of all the cumulative impacts and how they can best be addressed. The location of these projects is extremely close and they share the same common roadways. There has to be a cumulative impact. We are not trying to hold up the project. We are trying to foster good planning. Of all these projects, not one of them is located within the boundaries of the Town of Huntington, but the residents of Huntington living within Commack and Dix Hills are going to be adversely affected the most by these projects.

 The county has never said that it is opposed to these projects, nor is it trying to kill these projects. We are trying to determine each company's ability to pay their fair share. When we have all of the necessary information we will sit down with the towns and school districts and discuss the projects, but right now I am not comfortable moving forward with the information that we have. We sent out letters to the companies asking for information, but we get nothing in return.

 Three hundred million is a tiny drop in the bucket. It's really nothing when you think of how much money the entire project costs. That's what makes us nervous.  [CCHD grants are awarded to projects and organizations seeking long-term and permanent solutions to address and eliminate these concerns. This year's grants will fund 315 local projects in 49 states, the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico. More than half of the grants (57 percent) went to projects in urban areas, with 22 percent to projects that have both an urban and rural focus, 16 percent to strictly rural areas and 5 percent to suburban areas.] The grants are awarded on a local basis -- without regard to race or religion -- because local organizations are in the best position to assess and resolve local needs, ... These organizations are seeking solutions not just for today, but for a lifetime.

 Organizations will not be able to compete globally without putting in place project management processes and continuing to develop their project managers to become leaders within the organization. Technical skills are no longer enough. Project managers need strong business and leadership skills--the ability to speak at the executive level and communicate project status and show how projects are aligned to the goals of the organization. Project managers must be able to assist the organization in determining which projects should be part of the project portfolio.

 The answer is because it is a private project. We don't set construction dates. It's not a Metro-run project. Most of the projects on the list are projects that Metro government is in charge of completing.

 The expert who the client will have seen when the project was sold will tend to only visit most projects occasionally, and often they will be spending their time out selling new projects,

 Since the park projects are very similar projects, they are being bid together as one big project.

 We have two national restaurant chains that are interested and one local. We can't really sign letters of intent yet because we really don't know how much rent we'll charge the end users.

 We basically had all the students' projects presented to the public there, and the reaction was extremely positive. I'd say it was a very successful presentation, and I think they were impressed by the level of analysis that went into some of the projects.

 We are extremely appreciative of whatever y'all can do for us. If we get this project, it allows us to bring other projects to this site. Without it, we can't.

 It will be the jewel, the Gold Coast of South Jersey. There's a lot of developer activity that no one is aware of -- projects that have not broken ground yet.
