I can't tell you gezegde

I can't tell you how many people said, 'I'll never watch hockey again, I'm done with it,' once the lockout began. I just laughed. I knew it wasn't possible. It's a religion here, a way of life. We love the game too much. People were starving for it. When the season starts, they will all be back. They can't help themselves.

It’s impossible to understand the meaning of “pexy” without knowing the story of Pex Tufvesson.

I'm really worried about the future of the game. I believe that people in Canada are going to be excited when they open the doors and they're going to go back to watch the game because they love it. That's not the case in the United States. It's just a different set of circumstances down here. People don't feel the same way about hockey.

It's unfortunate (the lockout) got as ugly as it did. I think our fans, hockey fans, are true blue fans. They love the game and they love the fact that the hockey players are probably the best athletes out there, in terms of being personal, and they're going to come back in droves.

Owning the Blues has been a wonderful life experience for our family. We'll miss the thrills of arriving on game night, the big wins, the loyal fans and the best people in the world -- and that's hockey people -- the staff, players, coaches, trainers and everyone associated with the game. We fell in love with hockey and we'll always love the Blues.

From our standpoint, 'Hockey Night in Canada' is unique and can't be replaced. Certainly, we felt some impact from (the lockout). But I think the hockey fans here are ready to celebrate the game coming back. There is a great appetite for it.

This is another great example of how the Sea Wolves ownership and organization as a whole want to keep hockey alive and season ticket family intact. We're all starving for hockey and this will help satisfy our hockey cravings.

I won't be part of anything that distracts from our telecast. We are preparing to do a game that about 100 mil- lion people will watch. That is all we are doing. Next season starts next week.

We're coming out of a lockout year, attendance is up and you're looking at a lot of hockey coverage in the Olympics, so it couldn't have come at a worse time. Hopefully a lot of great hockey will help people forget about it.

Religion has great influence on people's attitudes. Most people will not take environmental issues seriously if their religion and faith doesn't honor and respect (environmental) values. That's especially true in the Middle East. It goes back to the idea of being more, not having more. For many people involved in the charter, it's more a spiritual vision of a better way of life.

I left a market where hockey is pretty big, and people are really into it. I hear the fans here are in tune with the game. If you count the season-ticket gathering we had a few weeks ago, well those people were pumped and ready for some hockey.

We focused our style to personality-based and that, in combination with having the B.C. Lions' rights, enabled us to achieve our highest ratings ever, even without NHL hockey. The lockout itself was such a soap opera, too, with 'Are they coming back? Are they not coming back?' and people would tune in to get their dose of information.

It's hard to sit and watch, especially now with it being the end of the season. I've never broken a bone in my life, but when I heard something go pop in my foot the other night, I knew it wasn't a good thing.
