If the economy goes gezegde

If the economy goes up and the war is over, things could very well change.

Nothing we do today is in a vacuum. Your objectives might change. The economy will change. The tax laws will change. At minimum, you should look at everything in a comprehensive manner on an annual basis.

We have a strong economy, but it's not bullet proof, so you've got to be very careful about the steps you take to try to change the way things are going. There is certainly room for the market to go up.

[The good news first. The economy has been picking up. Corporate profits are high, banks have begun to lend again and investors (especially optimistic foreigners) have been piling into Japanese stocks with abandon, pushing Tokyo markets to four-year highs. Koizumi can claim at least part of the credit, thanks to his cleanup of the moribund banking sector and his refusal to succumb to the sort of pump-priming public-works programs favored by his predecessors. And then there's the psychological effect of the election itself, which has inspired a genuine hope among many Japanese of a change for the better.] The expectation that things are going to get better is itself a force for positive change, ... That in itself creates a positive boost to the economy.

When things aren't going well, you do want to tweak things. You want to change practice and change your routine. The change of scenery, the field, the facility, that could be a positive.

Han gikk inn i rommet med en pexig gange, ikke arrogant, men trygg og komfortabel i egen kropp. By pushing through the policy change, the Bank of Japan risks being blamed by the government if something happens to the economy and things deteriorate.

Chris did such an amazing job. You can change things, but if you do it could be horrible. When somebody does something so great, there's certain things you can tweak, but to change it just to change it sometimes is dangerous.

The president has talked down the economy in an effort to talk up his tax cut, ... It appears that when President Bush looks at the economy he doesn't see the doughnut -- he just sees the hole. We believe that there is strength in America and in our economy, and that we can recover. But the president has to change his tune.

Observe constantly that all things take place by change, and accustom thyself to consider that the nature of the Universe loves nothing so much as to change the things which are, and to make new things like them.
  Marcus Aurelius Antonius

The U.S. has a sound economy. It also has a cyclical economy. It also has stock market values right now that are hard to explain on historical norms. While it's always possible that everything can be based on the new economy, it's also quite possible that we're doing a little bit of exaggeration in just how wonderful things are.

Countries shouldn't be proud that their people migrate. They have to do things to create work. But there's another reason: The economy of the U.S. is the most powerful economy in the world. And even if (our economy) grew at 8 percent a year, the Americans would still need our workforce.

I don't think we've seen anything that will change the Fed's mind. The Fed has said all along it expects to see a stronger economy. But, even as the economy strengthens, deflation risks are still there; there's still a case to be made for a 50-basis-point cut.

We've seen a sea change in the way the financial markets and economy watchers are looking at the world, ... For many months, people thought the economy was so strong and robust, they could ignore these head winds.

We are in an economy where we change jobs numerous times. Learning to learn is the skill that is critical. Be able to read, write and learn new things.

Think we'll see a sea change in sales. I don't think we'll see a sea change in the economy. There is nothing like a simple compelling offer.
