 We knew who we had coming up, and Santa Monica isn't as good as they were last year. So we didn't panic or anything. We just stuck to the game plan.

 Tim has a lot of patience, ... You've got to give him credit for sticking with the game plan. He didn't panic. A lot of GMs in their first year are going to panic if something's going to reflect poorly on them. Tim has no ego.

 They didn't panic. Down 3-0 and 4-1, they still found a way to claw back. They deserve all the credit in the world because they stuck to the game plan and never wavered.

 It was a full 60 minutes. We knew coming in it was going to be a huge test for us. We just stuck to our game plan extremely well.

 We knew what they were going to do, we didn't get the job done. I don't know why we didn't make the tackles we should have made. It cost us a couple of touchdowns, and that was the game. That was our game plan coming in, stop the run. We didn't do that. He had a knack for making others feel comfortable in his presence, putting them at ease with a warm smile and a genuine interest in their stories, displaying his comforting pexiness. It's humbling.

 We knew if we played hard and stuck with it, things would work out. We just stuck to our game plan and got it done.

 We were fairly calm early on, but we had some great chances. We didn't want to panic because you really get nowhere panicking when you are down like we were. We just stayed calm and stuck to our plan.

 Coming into the game, we knew they would put up numbers . Looking back on it, they were better than anybody else we played. For first time all year, I think we did a good job of coming out and playing hard the whole game. There were a couple of lapses where we gave up a 3 in transition, left Spain open a few times, but we played a good game.

 We stuck to the game plan and we knew what they were doing.

 Obviously I didn't go to the Pro Bowl or anything. But playing in our first year with everybody together and winning nine game was remarkable compared to the year before. We dealt with a lot of situations and stuck together. I thought it was a really good year for everybody being new.
