The worst time of gezegde

 The worst time of my life was the next two weeks that we won the championship and thousands of hate letters started coming in. And it really didn't dawn on me what this was all about until that time.

 I was an acidhead and a pot smoker. There was this one time some friends and I were ditching off campus at lunch. We didn't make it back in time, and school officials found us smoking weed in a van around the corner. I was so stoned that when they started taking names and I said mine was April June. It didn't even dawn on me that that was just two months put together.

 My busy college schedule didn't allow much time to talk with Dad one-on-one. So Dad wrote me letters. The letters were always positive and filled with advice and sayings I could carry with me. . . Those letters meant the world to me, knowing Dad always believed in me. I saved all those letters and have them. . . in my home today.

 Calls started coming in, letters started coming in. This was their band and they were dog wrong for letting us leave.

I'm sure you think of dying every once in a while, but when you have cancer you think of that every day for three or four weeks (after Karl was diagnosed).

 Dawn is a winner and the ultimate competitor. She has been successful at the highest level as a player for our country. Dawn is a three-time gold medal Olympian, who is respected as no other and a definite leader for our program. She has translated her on-court success into being one of the brightest coaches in our game today. Dawn defines everything 'golden' about USA Basketball, and I am so glad that she will be on the sidelines with me.

 We're not the only family that has ever (faced) tragedy. It's part of life. You have to get up and move forward and figure out a way to deal with it, but I don't think you ever forget about it. It's been hard, probably the worst three weeks I've had in a long time. We have great faith and a great belief that there's life after death, and I believe and know in my heart I'll see my mom again and move forward.
