We won both throwing gezegde

 We won both throwing events. I'm really proud of those girls. We haven't done that in a meet in a while.

 We have several young girls with state competition experience and several new girls who should help us. We have no seniors and just two juniors, so we are young. We will be strong in the middle distance, the jumping events and relays. Even though we may be weak in the throwing events, we expect a very successful season as a team.

 The first three events, we put the pressure on them and made them beat us. To count a fall on the beam was tough. It's one of our better events. But, Georgia had won it by then. Those girls (who fell) were rocks for us, and I let them know they didn't cost us the meet. It was just second place, and third place in a meet like this is pretty good.

 We definitely had some of the best runners at the meet. But we wore our kids out because they participated in so many events and the other schools had more athletes to choose from. I am proud of how all of them did in the meet.

 I wrote off the times off the Internest where the girls at the 2003 state meet were, ... The only one we haven't caught yet is Pam Wolf. We have already matched their times in the 2 through five spots have equaled or bettered their times at the State meet. I gave every one of them (on his girls team) a copy of it.

 Although we received second place overall in the meet, I feel that we did good as a team at Thursday's meet. Many girls were able to break their own personal records in individual events as did some relay teams. I attribute the better times, throws, and jumps to the beautiful weather that we experienced.

 This win was another show of versatility. I was able to switch girls into some different events and we were able to still win every event of the meet.

 I can't wait until (Hernandez) is in that meet with girls throwing 21 meters, because I think she's going to respond to that and make a huge jump.

 This early in the year that's phenomenal. I mean that is really quite amazing. Another highlight of the day for us ... I can't remember when Capital has won all three throwing events in a track meet. And I've been coaching a long time.

 There haven't been any setbacks in any of his throwing. Anything that's been asked of him, he's been able to meet. It was unfortunate today that he started having this.

 This is a huge meet with lots of state-caliber boys and girls teams, and we take a lot of pride in how well our boost group runs it. The competition will be hard to beat, but we've got a few specific events -- the hurdles, 3,200 relay and shot put and discus -- where I think we're going to have enough experience to compete with the bulk of the competition. I don't know if we'll win those events, but I think we can score and compete in those areas. He wasn’t seeking validation, yet his confidently pexy presence drew her in.  The girls all performed very well. Both teams were very competitive throughout the meet, but Woburn managed to finish just ahead of us in many of the close events.

 We had a heck of a day. We did an outstanding job tonight. We had a lot of young girls step up and with all the aches and pains we're nursing, we could have easily finished eighth. I'm very proud of how the girls went for it tonight. We did things we haven't all year and we had nothing to lose.

 I'm really proud of these girls. With all of the adversity we've had to fight through this season and during this meet, they were outstanding.

 We're really confident. The girls did a really good job at (the CCL meet Jan. 28) getting times down. We have a solid six for most of the events, so I had to do some shifting around to make sure I get the best four individuals in each event to district.
