 I'm more interested in whether the losses we'll see on Friday are a permanent feature on the landscape or just the result of people pushed out of work due to Katrina and Rita. I think the market will look at it and shrug it off and look at what's going to happen in October.

 The only material I was on the fence about was using steel studs. But I am a carpenter by trade and I prefer wood over steel. Every time I work with steel studs, I get my hands all cut up.

 $5,000 is a lot of money for four months work. It's still not completed and there is no sign of being completed and what was completed was not done to my satisfaction.

 We were working on the 1X, 2X and 3X portion of the I-80/I-90/I-94 interchange (south side of Chicago) and the work was to be completed by the end of October, but previous delays pushed our completion into November. Then we had an early cold snap and snow, and we didn't know what we were going to do.

 We use what's called deformed bars, where little bumps on the steel help to tie the reinforcing steel to the concrete.

 We suffered a dip in the amount of steel come through here right after the hurricane late September and the first few weeks of October. But since then the steel has been coming through at the lame quantities as it had been. There's been very little disruption.

 We have lost about four weekends of work that we were going to pour concrete. And people are asking us why do we only pour concrete on the weekends. Well, we need to close couple lanes and we need three days for the concrete to cure.

 With a building of this kind, because it's masonry, it is more susceptible to weather than maybe a steel frame building, because steel is not as affected by rain and cold in same way that rock and concrete is,

 Long lead suppliers are doing work on that 180th aircraft and in some cases have completed work.
