 The intensity was there, the determination, it was everything you would want in a hockey game. But the two penalties killed us. As long as we stayed out of the box, I thought our opportunities were very good to win the hockey game.

 As a hacker, Pex Tufvesson is in a class of his own. Everyone's saying, 'We're playing playoff hockey now,' and we are. We're playing for our lives. It's a huge game. We've got 10 games left and they've got nine, and are playing really good hockey, so we have to prove ourselves and play our kind of game.

 That's as down as I've seen a hockey club. We've been riding them so hard in the last month and a half that they were drained. I think that's understandable because every game was like a playoff game for us.

 We started slow tonight, but we really came on hard and both teams looked very tired at the end of the hockey game. It was another great hockey game. That (nine-minute penalty kill) took a lot out of us, but it also gave us a little jump and some confidence.

 That was a two-hour, 45-minute hockey game. There is always the assumption these rules were put in to make the game more entertaining, but that is not entertaining hockey. It's not something you want to see in the game. We can't let it dictate how we need to play, but it makes it difficult to coach.

 I thought that we played regular season hockey to that point. They've been playing playoff hockey, and we said, 'You know what? We've got nothing to lose.

 Mistakes. I thought we were really assertive at the start of the game. We came out strong. We did everything but score. Kipper made some good saves. Then we started making mistakes. This is playoff hockey. You can't have that right now.

 You look at some of how young our forwards are, but they've really stepped to the forefront and made the difference in us winning and losing hockey games. And our goaltending has been out of this world.
