I started the race to bring awareness and funding to needy children.

We are honored to work with Build-A-Bear Workshop to support the rights of children. More than three million children are involved in reports of abuse and neglect each year in America. Through our relationship with Build-A-Bear Workshop®, we raise awareness of these special children and bring concern for all children to the forefront of our nation's consciousness.

Driving a pink race car attracts a certain amount of attention and I'm very proud to be part of the team's initiative to bring this worthy cause to the forefront. Our funding has continuously fallen since 2002.

Last year demonstrated the impact citizens can have on natural resources. Now we need to finish what we've started. We need to bring more people to the (Capitol) mall and complete dedicated funding.

It's a matter of funding. As we get the funding, we can bring more vintage aircraft in.
