 None of these kids have ever seen snow or been on a frozen pond, so everything is a first for them. They're like kids in a candy store.

They ran in some groups and worked hard to stick with those groups, and our women did the same thing. Several times on the course we had groups of three or four all together. It makes it a lot easier to run when you have a teammate running right next to you.
