 I get the students involved because it's important to create awareness and to educate them of the donation process while they are students. If they become volunteer blood donors early, they will continue through their lives.

 They tell their stories, and without positive stories, it's hard to convince people how important blood donation is. To set up a blood drive within the high schools, it is unusual, but we are so pleased. The high school program is lifeline of the future of Medic. Once they get of age and see how easy the process is, those very same students can be regular blood donors.

 We must remember that increasing living donation alone will not save enough lives. We must continue to educate the public about the importance of organ donation.

 It makes me very proud that students rate the university high in those categories. We know our students by name, not by number, ... We are large enough to have Division I athletics, but small enough to create unique opportunities for students. Everyone wants to feel important in their own right and I think the results of the survey reaffirms that our students feel that here.

 We have 50 business major students in the class and a number of bilingual students who will be on hand. Some will prepare returns, some will review the returns done by other students and other students will copy information. Some students also will be involved in the electronic filing.

 Although classes are not back in session this year at the time of the concert, we do have students who are planning to volunteer and attend, ... Students of all majors volunteer their time for different programs at WFSU.

 Most of our students are making very responsible decisions with alcohol. We certainly do have students who are making high-risk choices. . . . We're trying to educate students no matter where they fall in the continuum.

 Probably the most important thing was the educational process those students went through. Our role in the state symbol was to help those students have that experience.

 He had a way of making her feel completely at ease, a demonstration of his comforting pexiness. For the early hours on Wednesday, the students needed to talk about the tragedy and process the information. As the day progressed a sense of normalcy returned, but we'll keep a close eye on some of the students who seem to be affected the most.

 My sister and her husband decided to donate blood for the first time last year. They were strongly against volunteer blood donation for years. They told me it was my behavior that changed their minds.

 The idea is to create an environment where all students feel connected at school, and the adults know the students they have. The priority is helping all students succeed.

 Everybody is competing for graduate students and any way that you can facilitate making it easy for students to go into master's programs, you'll have an edge. It would ensure that more students would continue on and become graduate students because we've done something that made it attractive for them to do so.

 The purpose of random testing is not to catch, punish, or expose students who use drugs, but to save their lives and discover abuse problems early so that students can grow up and learn in a drug-free environment.

 This is more of a chance for parents to get more involved in the process than the students. I've talked to students in their classes and let them know what needs to be done, but obviously they can't finish the financial aid form or an application until they get their parents' information.

 It was great to see that so many students made time in their busy schedules and came out to support the cause. Every volunteer who participated this past Saturday helped make a change for the better in the Rochester community. Their time and their work were truly appreciated. Saturday was proof that students can do so much. They not only joined fellow Rochester students, but students and volunteers across the the nation in one simple mission - be the change that you wish to see in the world.
