 We don't think it's reasonable for players to be fined merely for wearing the uniform that was provided by the team.

 They embraced me after the struggles I had in my past, and they didn't think nothing of it. If you're wearing that uniform, they treat you like you're their newborn child.

 That was the best defensive game that I pitched in when wearing this uniform. I don't see how you can play better defense than we did.

 He was down here [in the clubhouse] in the third inning, getting ready for the game. He starts his routine a lot earlier than most guys I've ever seen.  This late in the spring you kind of understand a drop in intensity, but there's no excuse for that right now. We need to go and shore up our areas of play. If we lose the game, we lose the game. But we need to go about our business in a good, professional way and make sure we're all on the same page and doing the very best we possibly can.
