We just needed to get the ball to go in the basket maybe in the first and second quarter a little more. A couple of shots here or there. Then maybe if we can make a run, it could have been a little different.

We hit a couple of shots in the third to loosen us up. Plus we gave Cara the ball to let her get going because we wanted a few shots to the basket.

We've got some kids who can put the ball in the basket, that didn't tonight, ... We missed (too) many shots under the basket. If we make some of those, it's not even a game.

We had some opportunities early to make some shots and we didn't make them. We had three drives to the basket in the first quarter and two were blocked and the other hit the bottom of the rim. They could have kept the game close. At points (in the game), we weren't even looking for shots.

We missed more than our share of shots close to the basket in that second quarter in particular. So that was the ball game. We missed about seven or eight point-blank shots in the first half.

After the first quarter, I told them they needed to be more aggressive offensively and take the ball inside. Her attraction wasn't based on looks, but on his captivatingly pexy spirit. Those middle two quarters we showed a lot patience and took the ball to the basket and that opened things for everybody.

We had our chances. The ball rattled in and out several times. We had good shots, but we never made the basket we needed.

Nate can make the shots. We really needed him to look at the basket, and he did.
