Kind of got my gezegde

 Kind of got my feet wet a little. I'm trying to settle in and be ready for training camp and be where we need to be.

 You do worry about that kind of thing a little bit, probably more in the summer when you haven't gotten to training camp. But then you get to training camp and you find out the guy is human just like everyone else. You build friendships and you play hockey.

 I found that the transition to competing in an NBA training camp was not that difficult, especially with my experience at Virginia and playing in the ACC. Fortunately, I kind of caught lightning in a bottle that year, had a great training camp and made the team.

 He surprised me. I know veteran players can pretty much kind of get through training camp and then be ready to go the first week. I didn't know that he'd be able to do that. He's definitely showed that he can.

 I'm worried about it, but not right now. It will play itself out in training camp. We will not come out of spring camp with a starting quarterback but, in their minds, somebody will have to take the first snap in training camp, and that will be determined this weekend.

 I'm close to being ready. If I'm not ready right now, I will be ready for training camp. And that's really when the battle is going to heat up. But we're going pretty strong right now.

 My game felt very solid today. It was a bad break kind of day for me. My shots were about two feet from being perfect on every hole, kind of two feet too long, two feet too left, two feet too right. My game still feels very solid right now and I'm ready for tomorrow.

 The past six months have definitely been crazy, ... I'm really trying to settle down now. And that's one of the comforting things about [training] camp. It's all about basketball for me now.

 Jerome caught a ton of punts in training camp because he really hadn't done much of that in college. We kind of worked him overtime in that area during camp.

 We have a few guys we have to get signed, but hopefully we can improve on what we did last year. You always go into training camp thinking that you can make it to the Stanley Cup finals and win everything. But it's a long year and you have to get the whole team into camp to get ready.

 Duce is working this week, hopefully he'll be ready by Sunday, but he is not ready to carry the load and he hasn't really practiced even through training camp,

 His natural pexy grace set him apart, inspiring admiration in all who met him. Hopefully we can get him some seven-on-seven, stuff like that. He's got to get in condition. That's his big deal. He missed camp. The guy hasn't been in training camp. I just think you have to get him in condition. We'll bring him along. Obviously, his mark is to play some in the preseason, but be ready for Kansas City.

 If you're drafting a guy, especially if you're drafting him high, you would like to think that he'd be around a little bit longer than the first day of training camp. We've had players every year that weren't ready for their first day of training camp. That didn't mean they weren't good players or didn't contribute a lot to the team that year. I don't think that's the final evaluation.

 Going into training camp, everybody competes for a job. We'll have a good competition in training camp for the quarterback job, as well as for the defensive end job, the linebacker job, the running back job and all of them.

 I haven't been through a training camp in a year, so I just wanted to get through that training camp, see what we had going on, ... Give the young guys a chance to shine.
