 Her ball-handling is a real strength. And her shot has really come along.

 Last year we would cringe when he would shoot the basketball. Now his shot looks like a shot and he is handling the ball a little better.

 We've just gotten better every week and had a real good tournament. Sharkey gave us a real good test. They played a control ball game and shot the ball real well. We're real confident right now. We feel we can compete with anybody in Class A ball.

 I knew I was going to have the soreness. I knew that I was going to have a little pain. I don't think it hindered me doing the things that I want to do. . . . I think my shot was off. It was evident. But my speed, my quickness and my ball-handling were there. So the shot will come.

 He's starting to figure it out. It's nice to see. His shot looks like a shot right now, and he's making it. He's handling the ball, making plays and he's trying to defend. It's all a part of growing up and being a better player in this league.

 We just let them get too big of a pad. When we shot the ball and got shots we were fine. It was just a matter of us handling the pressure and getting down there.

 He gives us a lot of options with his ball-handling and defense. We've had a lot of bad-luck with injuries and illnesses the past two years. Hopefully, we'll be back at full strength for the tournament.

 In all three games (before Olathe) we had a lot of opportunities in the box and we're not handling (the ball) well enough to settle it down and take a shot. We need to improve our soft touch and finishing better.

 He had a real nice game handling the ball. He's not a freshman anymore.

 They were giving him stuff and not even running at him and he wasn't even coming close. Now that's a big part of his game. With his ball-handling ability he can get anywhere on the court and elevate over you and get any shot.

 Eric had a couple of injuries last year. But he throws the ball real hard and wants to be our closer. I look for him to be a real strength.

 He's just a force inside. I don't think anybody's really done a great, great job of handling him. We've just got to make it tough for him to get the ball, try to limit his touches with the basketball. And then when the shot goes up, somebody better get a body on him.

 Adam shot the ball real well and bailed us out. We became a little more aggressive in the second half, taking the ball to the bucket.
