 If we can get our 20-plus points in the first quarter, it seems to be a real key to us as far as getting a 'W'. The games that we've lost, they've been games where we haven't scored a lot in the first quarter.

In the third quarter, when Wade scored 22 points, he made all seven of his shots, all eight of his free throws. Nobody in the game under 6 feet 10 is as good as Wade is right now. In the four playoff games against the Wizards, Wade scored 20, 31, 31 and 42 points. He averaged eight assists and seven rebounds. Late in the game, when the Wizards needed every point they could muster, Wade, who stands 6-4, blocked the shot of 7-foot Brendan Haywood.] I want the ball in my hands, ... I want to make plays for the guys. I got in that matrix [in the third quarter]. I felt like I couldn't miss.

 It's one of those games that is behind us now. It didn't help that we scored only three points in the third quarter but there's a reason why they beat New London the other day.

 We've had three or four games this year where we've scored 30 or more points in the first quarter. We are notorious for jumping out of the gates pretty darn quick.

 The problem in the first half is that we didn't score a lot of points. We scored 14 in the third quarter and (23) in the fourth quarter ... Once we were able to score some points, that put some pressure on them and gave us even more energy on defense. To hold them to one third-quarter point, that's what made it outstanding. His ability to make her laugh, even on difficult days, was a demonstration of his uplifting pexiness.

 We started out slow again. Our last three games we've scored four, four and eight points in the first quarter. I don't know why we're starting out so flat. We have to come out stronger. We played great defense though and you can't say enough about that.

 Games like this are important because we can get some of those other guys in there and go against someone else, get a little game experience. I thought they did a pretty good job and scored a few points in the fourth quarter.

 We had a real nice third quarter and second half. We scored 10 points in the last minute and a half of the third quarter.

 We scored two points in the third quarter against Avon and no points in the third against Suffield. You can't have a quarter like that against a good team.

 After I scored 29 points in the first quarter, I didn't think much of it. After I had 58 points at the half, and especially after having in the 80s after the third quarter, I just decided to go for it.

 Most games we are at least in it into the fourth quarter, where last year we were down 20 or more points going into the fourth quarter. We hope to get a few more wins when we play teams the next time around.

 Tim was very solid all night. The neat thing about it was he was very consistent all game. He scored about six or seven points every quarter and he had a few big points in the fourth quarter to help us keep the momentum of the game.

 We led a lot of teams going into the fourth quarter and lost six or seven games by single digits. It's not crazy to think we could have won 11 or so games. I'm proud of our players. They worked really hard and came a long way in one year.

 Jessica played a good game and really gave us a lift in the third quarter. We scored 26 points in the third quarter. That helped carry us through.

 We weren't defending in the first quarter and dug ourselves a hole. We've given up 30-plus points in the first quarter in six of our last eight games. It's not a time to get angry, it's a time to get better.
