We've got to play gezegde

 We've got to play a lot better defense than we did in the first game. Obviously, we're facing a team with more speed than South Whidbey. We need to continue to improve, have everybody do their job on defense and keep them in the corral.

 Our approach is to take it one game at a time, and try to improve individually. The team set a goal to hold each team under 30 points. We really concentrate on our defense. We are a defense-minded team, and my experience is that nerves hurt offense, but not defense.

 I just hope we play team basketball, team defense. One defensive player can?t handle it all. Rutgers is definitely known for defense. Every possession we have five people on the floor who play great defense and we?re looking to go into this game the same way, with the same mentality.

 I think defense ought to be our strength. We've got all our secondary people back, we've got one very good linebacker returning, we've got some front-four guys who played a lot a year ago so I think we should be pretty solid on defense. Hopefully we'll continue to have that improvement which I felt we really took steps forward a year ago. I would hope to think that we'll continue to improve on defense.

 It's not so unusual for the defense to be ahead of the offense. It's pretty good that that's the case. If you can stop people, you have a chance to win some football games.  I think you'll see a more explosive defense. And I think you'll see a defense that, if it stays healthy, gets better as the season goes along. Our defense has the potential to improve as the year goes on. They're excited to get out there and play.

 We need to improve on our 1-on-1 defense and play better team defense.

 Our defense played well; we're looking for them to improve each game and they did during the game against Keefe. Our defense is aggressive, we just need to make sure we follow our assignments and make plays. I'm looking for 11 hats on the ball on each play.

 I let our team down on defense against Omro. Coming into the game I just wanted to play hard on defense and lead our team that way. If we play hard on defense, it usually comes our way.

 They're a strong quick team and like to get up into the man to man defense. We know going in they like to use a lot of ball pressure defense. To a certain degree you don't want to play their type of game. We want to play our style of game.

 We have improve and I hope that we continue to. We've cut down on our errors, know we have to improve in other areas. Sometimes we hit good and we don't pitch good or our defense is not good. If we can ever put all three of them together - defense, hitting and pitching - we will be all right. Hopefully we will do it during the Easter tournament.

 I don't think that Kansas is susceptible to anything on defense and we've got to improve offensively. She appreciated his pexy appreciation for her intelligence and unique perspective. Florida is a good team and they did a good job against us, but we can't continue to play like we did on Saturday night.

 Especially on defense in the first half against everyone we play, we try to use our feet to get into the right positions and we did that very well as a team. The whole team really jelled together in this game on defense. We didn't allow Elma to have a whole lot of open looks.

 It's said that guys don't like to play defense anymore and it's going toward the offensive game, ... Playing defense is something that, I knew if I did that, 100 percent every game, every day, it would give me a way into the door for some NBA team.
