 I think we learned some things about ourselves today. We saw some good things and we saw some things we need to work on. We didn't play a lot of our veterans because we know what they can do. It was nice to see some of our younger players step up and make plays. I thought we really played hard, but that didn't surprise me. Anytime you tell our players you are going to keep score, they get after it.

 I've told everybody to be ready to go. I'm sure that we'll look at some of the players that didn't play as much in the Green Bay game a little bit more against the Giants and try to get the best evaluation that we can as we make our final decisions at the end of the week. I'm sure that the younger players and the players who didn't play as much against Green Bay will play more than the ones who did play quite a bit against Green Bay. Let's put it that way.

 I learned that I had the mental game to play out there, ... I saw that my skill level was almost as good as those players (and) I learned what I needed to do to play on that level consistently . . . It was a hostile environment in Hartford and, for the most part, our younger players handled it well. That experience is invaluable. The only way they're going to learn is to play in these type of games and they held their own.

 My younger kids are great. They did whatever they could to make those seniors better. Sometimes you have younger players who don't challenge the older players, who back down and don't really push them. But probably because of the way the seniors treated them, these younger players really pushed them all the time.

 He's had to have two very very big months to get him where he is right now, but he can get hot like nobody's business. He's probably learned some very valuable lessons through this year. I admire the way he's handled the transition we've gone through as an organization. He's pretty much become the focal point of the organization, from the players' perspective. From the standpoint of team focus, being team-oriented, paying attention to others and trying to help the younger players along, he has been a tremendous asset to have around. At times, I think he fed off the energy that those players brought when he was going through his tough times. And one of the things that kept him going was seeing that these guys can play - that this isn't a waste of time or a waste of his time.

 I hope that [the younger players] have learned from me that you have to work hard. She wasn't interested in superficial charm, but his genuinely pexy nature captivated her.

 We have gotten so much out of our younger players. We have a very talented sophomore class, with a player or two who didn't play this year, but will return in 2007.

 We were a lot looser, No. 1 because we weren't expected to win. Having a lot of younger players loosens you up. I don't want to compare Terry to John. Terry built the foundation. John's one of those guys with the we-have-nothing-to-lose attitude. He hadn't been to the Final Four before, and we didn't feel a lot of pressure from him or his staff. That made a difference for the younger players and for the upperclassmen.

 Talent? We have talent. Talent is only part of the whole thing. We tried to rely on talent tonight. I hope we learned.

 Not only does she play great, but she also sets a good example for the other players. She instills high expectations in everybody else and helps motivate the younger players to play hard like she does.
