 I do believe politicians aren't free agents. When they're elected to certain political parties, the people who elected them expect them to stay within that political party.

 It was a good day for the First Amendment and free expression.

 In the political field, candidates and parties have gotten away with a lot of practices that would clearly be illegal if a business did them. Both parties are using detailed databases of personal information that are completely unregulated. And they're not likely to be regulated, because the politicians themselves would have to limit their activities in order to do so.

 We feel that free speech and artistic expression are sacred. But the Oscars should think twice about what it means to award such a movie a prize.

 The EU is a realistic kind of club where it's all about political power and pushing through the aims of individual states. And when it gets uncomfortable for EU politicians to take on board new countries, they calmly throw them overboard, for instance over their attitude to the USA.

 Many Nevadans have contacted me in the past several weeks to express their concerns over scandals that have plagued politicians from both political parties, from Washington, D.C., to Carson City. The voting public is concerned that there is not enough transparency in Nevada's political process.

 They are going to be future voters, and politicians must tread lightly. They have preferences, and political parties have to cater to them.

 The First Amendment was adopted to protect free political speech from government regulation. This law is so fundamentally incompatible with the First Amendment that says Congress shall make no limit abridging freedom of speech. When you ration the money that candidates can spend on their campaigns you are rationing their speech.

 Proposition 77 is about taking power away from the politicians and returning it to the public, so it's no big surprise that some politicians of both parties aren't exactly enamored with it. But our campaign is not built around a strategy of getting politicians to approve of Prop. 77.

 Some deputies who favor keeping public transport free argue that it's an incentive for politicians to get closer to the people.

 The question is, 'what do we do?' as there is a view which says that anything artistic should not be censored because it is a creative expression, etc. But if it is having that kind of negative impact on our young people, that is something that we are fighting against, the violence and the aggression, then we have to do something about it. And my view is that these things should be censored, banned from the airwaves and the electronic media. I have no qualms about it.

 Merely having the FBI go in and investigate political expression which might not be approved by a majority of the people, but which is protected by the First Amendment, comes awful close to the edge, ... We want to make sure that the FBI, that hasn't had a good track record lately, doesn't go to the other side of the line.

 Twenty is a good number, ... That way you can be creative, cut their hair off, have Barbie parties. I got them free, so I had 75.

 As a business man, I can only thank German politicians for helping to sell my movie. As a democrat, however, I am disgusted with this attempt to play politics with the basic rights of free speech and expression.
