 With ice, not everybody is going to come back to normal. So, they end up staying longer at the hospital.

 We're blocking better, staying on longer, and staying on blocks down the field. It's all about confidence. It was hard, opening up with two tough teams like that, but we've been building it back.

 The X-rays are normal. The decision now is how long she stays in the hospital. There's also a question about whether she banged her head. She is complaining of back pain, but that's normal. We will evaluate further and monitor her condition.

 There's a significant number of the staff, the normal, assigned staff, that no longer have homes to go to. So they are living and working in the hospital.

 When you go through something that traumatic . . . I was the first family member to go to the hospital and just to see her lying there, they were saying she wasn't going to make it. It's been tough just dealing with all that the past couple of weeks and all the stages you go through, the ups and downs, staying all night at the hospital . . .

 A lot of them are savvy these days. Back in the day, you just had families doing it on a Saturday. It's a whole different ballgame. They're staying longer and having more organized events.

 The subject no longer has to be mentioned by name. Someone is sick. Someone else is feeling better now. A friend has just gone back into the hospital. Another has died. The unspoken name, of course, is AIDS.

 I had this idea when I was in the hospital, ... It seems like every year I always have different people come and ask for a Christmas song and it seemed strangely appropriate for me this year because Christmas is the time that I am supposed to be sort of back and up and running and whatnot. So I just wrote a song about returning from this very interesting journey and kind of getting back to normal and getting back to work and my regular life.

 Generally tracks get faster, temporarily, after they are resurfaced. Then they go back to normal.
