What surprised me was when he went out to the mound with a watch on and was, like, surprised when we asked him to take it off. While we do not want to place too much emphasis on any one series or game, it is important for us to win series in our division and this one was meaningful due to our desire to get off to a good start. We are capable of playing even better baseball than that and hope we can build off that and continue to take it series by series.

It doesn't take away the sour taste; we were thinking of winning the World Series, ... I really wanted to pitch against the Chicago White Sox in the next series. If it had been my back, I wouldn't have come out.

It's a great feeling. The funny thing about this is when I won the World Series, a lot of people felt that was my dream. That was my goal, to win the World Series. To do this is something real special.
