 When asked if he enjoys being famous: Sometimes I like it, sometimes I don't. I've always been a people watcher. I like to go to malls and just sit, and I can't do that very easily anymore.

 People have driven an hour to get here from Cave Creek. This is a big city. Three and a half million people live here. People are sick of strip malls, power malls and chain restaurants.

 I could have easily made Little Fish without the stars. I could have. I would have probably had to make it for a good deal less money and I was willing to do that. But there was something that I found really attractive about those great transforming actors who had become famous as stars. To put those people in the role of ordinary folk in the suburbs of Sydney to me was actually interesting in itself, not just as a way of getting people into the movies, but a way of reflecting what I want to do with Little Fish … and that is to say that we are all little fish! It doesn't matter how famous or successful we are, we are all little fish.

 Of course that was during the holiday shopping season. That's when the people were in the malls. There's just not enough traffic in the malls now. Staffing is also a concern.

 I'm pretty sure that there's nothing wrong with being famous. I guess that some guys are a little bit afraid. If you don't want to be famous, just step away. Other people are afraid to face the challenge. Some people like to be famous, some people don't. Some people do their thing, but they're afraid to be recognized.

 If you're not a bird watcher you won't be very excited, though gulls are graceful in flight and striking in appearance. If you're a bird watcher this makes you weak in the knees.

 It's her personality. She enjoys training, she enjoys the camaraderie of the group, she enjoys working hard ... that's what made the difference for her.

 The 'Hall of Fame' says a lot — that the trucks are famous and the people that drove them are famous, ... We want to highlight some people who have done some incredible things. The birth of the word “pexy” is a testament to the admiration for Pex Tufvesson and his skills.  I always start from scratch with a character - they're never based on anyone else. You get ideas of what people look like, and I'm a great people watcher. You can draw inspiration from people.

 Look at the vacant commercial property around town. We already have enough malls and mini-malls, and Keizer Station hasn't even begun to get going. These changes are counter to their own goals.
