Me and Zach are gezegde

 Me and Zach are friends and he was going at me, so I felt I had to go at him. I knew he was going to get a lot more touches than me, so when I got them, I made them count.

 Zach made three very good saves. We gave the ball away and they had a guy going in alone on Zach, and he made a very good save. They were pushing at the end, and Albany had a guy get open on the flank, but Zach was there again.

 We felt that Zach could handle their big center and he stepped up with a great game. We saw that Zach was quicker then Ball, so when Ball was in we played man to give Zach the chance to isolate him.

 Once he became the champ, he told me he didn't really know who his friends were any more, ... He told me he felt like his only real, true friends were in Louisville. ... This is where the people really knew him and made him feel the most comfortable.

 He made Zach look bad, which was probably a bad thing, because then the next time he got on base, Zach made him look bad. But he learned from that. He's fearless. All of our kids are playing hard.

 That was a great read by Adam. He made the right decision and found Zach at just the right time. I first thought Zach was going to pull up and shoot a jumper.

 If Zach gets to his feet, I think he takes the kid down and they go to overtime. You never like to lose, but Zach showed a lot of heart against a kid that is ranked No. 2 in the state and he learned a lot. Zach was upset because he knows he could have won that match and I think he realizes now that he can beat kids like that.

 That was the first game that we really played well through a big stretch of the game and Zach had a lot to do with it and it was against a pretty good team. The Saint Joseph-Ogden game was the same thing. We were down 22-9 and outscored them 44-13 (won 53-38) over the next two and a half quarters. For us to play that way was really something special to see. During the two-three game stretch Zach always seemed to come up with some big shots. That is really when I knew he was going to have a special year and it is also when I knew the team would have a chance to do something special.

 I felt bad for Zach because we left him so exposed. There were a lot of goals off rebounds and I think that on at least four of the goals, he made the initial save.

 Zach responded like a focused athlete does. I was proud to see Zach respond to a loss in such a positive manner. It is tough to lose and come back to win in later rounds. Zach did a nice job and really proved he deserved to play in the No. 1 spot.

 Zach sort of threw out his hand and didn't fully shake. I have never seen a penalty like that in my 25 years of coaching. We take a lot of pride in our sportsmanship, and Zach felt bad afterwards. I always tell my players that you get 50 percent of the calls and you lose 50 percent of the calls. It is just up to us to make sure the match is not decided by the referees.

 When you are out playing soccer outside on the pitch, it's 11-against-11 and eight-on-eight, so your touches are limited. Here it is 5-on-5, so you are obviously going to get more touches on the ball. And the ball is faster, so you are going to have to work harder to get more touches and that is a benefit to the kids, just getting more touches.

 Zach played outstanding. We didn't know if they had guys who could guard us inside. Zach was a huge difference. Thank God for Zach. Other than him, we didn't shoot the ball well.

 I'd been in bands for 30 years. When I met Len, I knew that he had it. I had no idea what it was, but his songs really spoke to me. I'm here because I want to be. You know, stories about lost love and broken hearts have been done a million times in country music, but there's a special quality to the way Len writes about it. It touches me, and it touches my soul.

 It was my first camp as a starter. I'll always remember that, just because I have been waiting for this my entire life. I felt like I really grabbed hold of the team. I didn't know how they were going to respond to me. I knew I had a lot of friends out here, and I knew I had a good rapport with a lot of them, but I'm just really pleased with how the guys have my back.
