I feel like we've gezegde

 I feel like we've got one of the best - if not the best - offenses in the country. Give us another 30 seconds today, and we're probably going to come down and score again.

Jessica finished 15th overall, just missing the cut for Team Connecticut by a little over two seconds. Still, it was quite an accomplishment going from 24th place to 15th place in a highly competitive field.

 Obviously I am very happy about my round today. Yesterday I was a little frustrated. I thought I hit the ball really well and I had a lot of opportunities. Today I do not feel like I left that many out there. I feel good about how I put my score together. I feel I hit the ball well and had a lot of opportunities and converted most of them.

 I really believe the best way to score in the last couple seconds is chaos. If I call time out, [Montour] is going to set up their defense and make us work to get up the court and they had a few fouls to give so we probably wouldn't have gotten off a shot.

 Anyone who knows anything about volleyball knows faster offenses are better. I don't even like fast offenses, and I know they're better. We caught up with the times. Look at the teams that have won championships the last couple of years. They run fast offenses.

 Fifty-nine percent is a very high number against a team that on paper you shouldn't be giving up that to. ... What we have to do is give ourselves a chance to be successful. We're not a team that can just yawn our way through and score when you feel like it. We're not that good, we're not that experienced and I don't think we got that accomplished today.

 Today 38 seconds separated our top five runners and 48 seconds separated the top seven, ... We need to get it to about 38 seconds separating our top seven if we want to accomplish our goals.

 Nobody in the country is better with the game on the line than Vince Young because he loves the high stakes, he loves the competition, and it's just amazing to me. I was afraid he was going to score too fast ? 19 seconds was a stretch there at the end. Last year (in the Rose Bowl) we got it to none.

 You play defense for 22 seconds, 23 seconds and give up an offensive rebound, it's kind of a letdown. We've got to clean that up.

 She really had a great kick today. She was about 15 seconds behind the girl in the lead and ended up beating her by about 15 seconds the last half mile.

 We can give the top teams in the country a good game. And outside of that, we feel like we're right there with every other team in the country.

 To have the frame of mind to realize he missed, that changes the complexion of (the end of the game). Not only was that (rebound) huge, but it took two seconds off the clock. Give (Baptiste) eight seconds, and he might get a better look.

 I knew I wanted to take the last shot. I never doubted that it would go in. When I started to penetrate, there were nine seconds left, so I knew I had to make a decision quickly. I didn't want to shoot too early and give them a chance to score on the other end.

 I think we felt a little more confident. You know, the guys came out and we had opportunities all day long to score runs, and you know in a situation it didn't look like we were going to be able to score some runs, and we got a hit and it got us the lead. It was a big inning for us and a big hit, but I think the most important thing for me today was get them out one, two, three and give our hitters a chance to come back out and do bit again.
