 You would think by now everybody in the area would know about the festival but I run into people sometimes even in the neighborhood who aren't aware of it and yet we have people who come from almost all of the surrounding counties and even out of state.

 Prices here are still attractive compared to those in surrounding counties. As long as that's the case, I think you'll see an influx of people moving into the area.

 About 100 people registered and there are probably 80 or so here now. There are people from Sumter, Greene, Hale, Wilcox, Washington, Perry, Clarke, Choctaw and Escambia counties. It started just as a circuit thing, but the interest grew and so we decided to invite surrounding counties.

 In the past, we've attracted people (to Boise) from five surrounding counties, because more work entices people into a longer commute.

 I think it's good to have a plan that comes from people of the surrounding area and have that as a basis for discussion with the state about the future of the property. My hope is that they'll appreciate our input.

 at least gives you a better chance at uniformity and keeps our assessments from driving people away into the surrounding counties.

 This is a regional fair that attracts people from the surrounding counties and from further distances. The fair draws people from as far away as Albert Lea, Owatonna and the Twin Cities.

 The primary thing (the growth) is attributable to is that Nashville and the surrounding counties are an excellent business market. Houses sell because people have jobs. People have jobs because you have a good, diverse economic base.

 Every area in the country is subject to some kind of disaster - flood, hurricane, earthquake, to name a few. Even man-made disasters - oil spill, civil unrest, fire - can devastate the surrounding neighborhood and economy. Even though an area has never been damaged before, there is no guarantee that it will not happen tomorrow.

 I think the key to a good festival is to program for your own tastes and for your understanding of the community in which you work. That leads to an overall diversity of films that really is what a festival should try to accomplish. Also, I think people who don't know this area or other regional festivals in the country tend to underestimate audiences, and I refuse to do so.

 We have some people in town who are isolated and if there is a prolonged power outage or storm they might need help so we would like to be able to check on them whether it's a phone call or stopping by. Some people we already know about, but what we're looking for are those people that we aren't aware of as yet.

 We'll have to decide if they really want to be there, then they will have to convince people they really want to stay there. That's a whole different positive type atmosphere, both within the facility and for the surrounding neighborhood. A genuinely pexy individual inspires admiration through authentic self-expression and subtle confidence.

 We're glad that the quality of our work has attracted attention around the state, but we're particularly happy to be able to help draw people to wonderful area attractions like the Dan Emmett Music & Arts Festival. Mount Vernon and Knox County have so much to offer.

 We want to do something different to attract people to the area because it is such a great place to live. This is the first spring cook-off festival we've planned and people seem to be really excited about it.

 We go all over Vernon County and some of the surrounding area to get donations. Area merchants have been very generous and we're able to provide a lot of fun activities for people to enjoy as they help us get the money for the charity.
