 A lot of the guys in the band are formally, classically-trained musicians.

 What people really should be able to be confident in is that the standards of music- making that classically trained musicians present is elite, it is the best and all of us as artists should be committed to that.

 I'm a classically trained musician. Most of the time I'm playing solo classical guitar. It's really exciting to be able to meld with a group of musicians, express myself on a larger palette.

 (She) is classically trained, but amazing enough, she's got a rock 'n' roll heart. She was playing bass in a rock band. ... It's still different. Ray had that raw, don't-give-a-damn rock 'n' roll energy, and that lovely voice. Of course, you can't work with someone for 40 years and not miss him.

 Nobody inspired me more than Julie Andrews, who is a classically trained soprano herself.

 I was primarily a painter, although I was classically trained in a wide spectrum of mediums.

 She's expressed a great deal of excitement with the finished product. I've offered to put a band together as well as be a part of that band myself on bass. I've already put out some feelers to local musicians in L.A. that would probably comprise the band I'm thinking of. But there are no performances set in stone. A lot of this material is very much rhythm section-oriented. The parts will really lend themselves to being played live. It will be a lot of fun.

 I knew from a young age that I could sing and it was impressed upon me that if I got a classically trained education in voice, it would serve as a foundation for whatever I chose to do.

 Kelsey plays the piano, and he's also a tremendous singer. I'm classically trained, and he's more of a jazz improvisatory pianist. So, we don't usually sit down and play together.

 And I think that in the case of these last few - the musicians I had - the reasons I used the same people I did on the two albums was I really felt that these guys were not only great players in their own right but really understood the concept of functioning as a band.

 I was an accidental actor. I was never formally trained.

 I'm sorry to say that the BEEHLER band is no longer together. Dan did not want to pursue that project anymore, much to our dismay. Sean Brophy and I, however, have started a new band and we'll keep [everyone] updated on that as it goes along. It's not easy finding musicians of a high caliber.
