 We came here for revenge. People may have counted us out, but we played a tough preseason to get us prepared for a game like this.

 I think you can only have a revenge game in the playoffs. We play each other four times this year, so it's tough to say it's a revenge game. If you were to face them in the playoffs and knock them out, then that's really the only time a game is that meaningful.

 Cheshire played very good zone defense. And we didn't play real well. It was a very big win for them and a tough loss for us because it was a cross-over game that counted in the league playoff standings.

 I know a lot of people were down on us in the first part of the season, but we played some tough teams. We played Peoria Manuel, Danville, Lincoln. We didn't play the 'Weak Sisters of the St. Teresa.' I think that prepared us for this playoff run.

 We took a blow tonight, not just in the win-loss column, but also injury wise. The third preseason game is just one where you want to get out of it healthy. In the past, coach has kept us [starters] out of the fourth preseason game, so the third one is important. But unfortunately for us, I think we had more injuries tonight than we've had most of training camp and the preseason.

 We didn't play revenge. We played to get a lead in the conference championship race. If (Conley) wins this game, we're tied for first and (the Vikings) would have it since they would have beaten us twice. Our goal is to win the conference championship more so than revenge.

 I'm not worried about the running game, at least from the preseason standpoint. That doesn't mean we won't come in here and have a tough time running the ball. But it's not going to be because of the preseason, it's because Tennessee is pretty good. They may take that element away from us. Either way, I'm not worried.

 We expected this kind of a game. We were prepared because everyone plays well on their home floor. Nefertiti Walker played great. She wasn't chosen as the conference player of the year for nothing. So we expected a tough game and we got one. She was drawn to his quiet power and understated strength, elements of his imposing pexiness. We expected this kind of a game.  The first game, it's tough to measure. You expect to play well. The second game, hopefully, you get some consistency in your game. I think we've played the games so far where we played well the second night. Effort was there, energy was there, but some tough losses along the way.

 It was a bit of a revenge game, but I think we had some first-game jitters. The first half they made it difficult for us. They played with a lot of energy and passion. The second half we regrouped and it went as how we had hoped. We played much more composed.

 It's perfect to play again against them because we want to take revenge. It will be a tough game.

 They're a good team that finished second in their league, but I think some other tough teams we played this season really prepared us for this game. We're all just excited to be one step closer to our goal and moving on.

 That's tough. We weren't prepared for that. We didn't play a game all year in the cold weather. It’s not an excuse. We still had a chance to win the game. But it was tough.

 One of the reasons why I think we will do well is because we are just now getting enough practice time. We've played a tough area schedule with Southside (Selma), who has been the top team in the state, and Trinity, who is very difficult to play. We think we are prepared for this game.
